I just don't understand how people can be like that!??!!

I can't believe those pictures. What a piece of trash that man? is. So glad to see Yorkie Haven Rescue has her. She is finally in loving, caring hands.

Agreed! Although I wouldn't say mine "love" people they are usually receptive enough to a few pats if I am around too, but when they don't want to go near a person, I take it as a hint and let them have their way. You have to wonder. My parents have a neighbor and both my parents dogs HATE this guy, they will bark and growl if he is anywhere near them and this is not normal behavior for them. Mine are the same way, if they are at my parents house they cause a huge ruckus if this guy comes near the property. He is the meanest, creepiest person you have ever met- seriously! He used to yell at me to make the dogs stop barking at him when he would come on OUR property! NO WAY! I know all four dogs are sensing something and they have every right to express it.

How awful!! Poor Ella. I'm so glad she is in a foster home now. I hope she spends the rest of her life being loved every minute, every second of every day. I want to scoop her up and shower her with hugs and kisses. Please let her find a home with love and kindness. She deserves that and more.

Sometimes it takes the :love: of another Mommy to help pull you through :thumbup:

Oh Lisa, that is just heart breaking. I hate to think of how many other pups are discarded in this way. This person is not worth the air he breathes.. I'm so glad Ella was found in time and is in a safe place. She surely deserves all the love someone can give her.

I really hope that the law enforcement were able to get this mans license plate number and arrest his stupid ass !!!

It would be a blessing if they could find where this man is keeping the rest of his dogs so that they could all be rescued and given a second chance in life.

I agree the look in her eyes broke my heart and I would like to break this greeder. Ugh I am so disgusted.

That poor baby. Thank God she is safe. We get dogs dumped every week at the shelter and it is so disgusting and cowardly. It is hard to prosecute because they keep delaying and you need lawyers and these creeps usually get away with it. EVeryone who can should try and donate time or money to these rescues or local shelters. I just don't get why nothing is done to stop the overbreeding of dogs and cats and stop puppymills.

Buster wanted me to donate to Ella and we also donated to sweet Chloe in TX another rescued Mommy. Buster was one of the lucky ones he got out away from the life of a commercial breeder but his mom and dad are still there or worse ending up like poor Ella or Chloe. Although I am so grateful to have Buster in my life I wish I had understood and done the right thing in the beginning.

I cannot stop thinking about little Ella. The more things like this that I hear about and see, makes me ashamed to call myself human. No wonder I like dogs more than I like a lot of people!!

That just broke my heart. Look how he is carrying her, like a trash bag. It angers me to think there are people so bereft of feelings that they cannot love an animal. I hope they find him, rip his dogs away from him, and throw his butt in jail...and that is the nice version.

I think this image of that awful man carrying Ella with her poor little paws all curled up, will always burn in my brain.

But at least it will serve as a good reminder to me to educate my friends and family about puppymill breeders and how they make a living off the backs of these poor things and then discard like trash.

When people are more educated about BYB'ers and STOP buying their puppies!!!!!!!!! What some don't realize is that while a puppy from a reputalble, GOOD breeder may SEEM expensive at first, they'll spend a heck of a lot more on vet bills on the mill puppy. Not to mention the suffering and heartbreak endured:unlove:

Well, the good part of the story is that Ella will never live like that again! She will not be used for breeding.....not be used at all...she has a furever home now that has been thoroughly checked out...and we will follow her progress as we do all Haven pups once they are adopted.

Our purpose in writing her bio as we did was to educate people. It boggles my mind, too, that so many people continue to support mills and backyard breeders. With all of the attention paid to these practices...what the heck are people doing?? Do they not see what many of us see? I guess not. :(

I totally do not understand how, in this day and age, anyone would purchase a puppy from a person without seeing where the puppy is coming from and seeing the parents of said puppy. I personally would never purchase a pup from a person I had met online who shipped his/her puppies. I cannot for the life of me, comprehend how anyone who cared about a puppy would sell it to someone without meeting them...without thorough vet checks...but let's forget the breeders....how do the people purchasing these puppies think that this is acceptable and reputable? I hear them say that oh...the puppy was brought by a courier...ok...so is that courier a personal friend who has checked the conditions out...or a person being paid for his/her services? I am not saying that all people who transport are bad....I am just questioning the blind faith that people have. Boggles my mind. What a sad world for the dogs...... :(

So glad that Ella is where she will be loved and care for now. I just don't understand how some people can treat living creatures so badly:( The penalties aren't stiff enough.

Sadie will be in your arms again before you know it! :) She is one of the lucky ones.
