She's a crazy one! She's sleeping right now... it's 9pm. I'm not sure whether I should make her play fetch and try to keep her up, or let her sleep, lord help me if I don't get any sleep again hahaha. She got a 2k walk, 30 minutes with the kong toy, and a good hour or two of fetch and tug with Pooter. Debating on another walk since the sun's starting to stay out til almost 10! |
The only thing mine ever did was want to play in bed, when I laid down. They'd jump all over the bed and me, too!:D |
Sounds like Tikka was determined to have a big day and get in all her exercise despite her walk being cut short! But I can't explain what causes Tibbe's nighttime exuberance at times. Tibbe very sometimes gets the zoomies about 10:00 p.m. just about the time I let him outside for the last time of the day. He gets super-exicited about going out, and then when he comes in, he is still so hyper he will run all over the house, find some toy or other and start "killing" it, shaking it hard, biting its squeaker really hard and often, running to me with it and shoving it into my hand, grabbing it back, running off and so on. I usually just let him play himself out and then he will settle down and go to sleep. I can't tie his bouts of zoomies to anything in particular right now - maybe I can figure it out one day. |
haha that sounds so cute the "zoomies" i wish i could see him do that!! yeah Tikka is one of those self entertaining dogs if I ignore her long enough... All week I've been putting off work because every time she comes up to me and whines I want to give her attention... but today I had to put my foot down and get stuff done, so she's been dragging all of Pooter's toys of of his kennel and chewing, squeaking, killing each one of them until Pooter comes to take it away lol. she NEVER goes in the kennel to get a toy because she doesn't like being in the kennel at all, so that's how i know she's getting ants in her pants to play lol!! |
That sounds so cute. I would love to see that but I have a good mental picture of it. They're so cute when they want to play and Tibbe just plays so much and has such fun in life I hate to dampen his spirits but sometimes you gotta try to get things done or try to go to sleep and there he is, having himself a circus in the floor and zooming around the house. Sometimes I just have to go on to sleep and usually wake when he eventually comes to bed. He only does that when he's in one of those midnight madness phases. Cannot explain it. :) |

Have I ever said "I LOVE MY DOG!" :D He gets his zoomies around 8-9pm goes to sleep in his room like a little angel and before that he is a regular cuddle bug around 11pm, and rarely wakes me up in the mornings! |
