I hope you report that pet store for those future tiny creatures that won't have someone as great as you to rescue them. You would be doing a great service to those babies. God Bless you and your little ones. |
I'm glad you are taking such good care of your little puppy. You have gotten some great advice here. I'm pretty sure that pet stores who sell live animals have to be USDA registered and I know a breeder who sells to a pet store has to be USDA registered. They USDA has rules that any puppy sold and/or transported has to be at least 8 weeks old. If you are sure the puppy is younger than 8 weeks old (does he have papers?) please contact USDA and your state agriculture department to report the pet store and breeder. No one should sell any Yorkie puppy that young. :thumbdown Good luck with your new baby. Teresa |
Thanks Teresa I will do that. I do have his papers so I know thathe was 4 1/2 weeks old when we got him plus the vet said there was no way that he was even close to 6 weeks old which is what they told us. He will be 6 weeks old tomorrow. I have gotten some awesome advice on here and I am starting to use it. I've never had a Toy breed dog before. I have a 4 month old boxer puppy who acts as Brutus guard dog its so cute. We don't leave Brutus unattended around him though because it makes me nervoius because he's so small and sometimes Linkin doesn't realize how much bigger he is. They are so fun though lol |
