Both my babies sleep with me and the DH.....at bedtime my Dh like to cuddle and as soon as we do.. Timba and Maggie try to bully themselves in between us.... and guess what they always WIN.....;) |
Ohhhh me me me! Our little yorkie Tikka is allowed in our King size bed, but our pomeranian Pooter has to sleep next to the bed on the floor because my husband wont allow him in the bed since he sheds and our comforter is a deep red so you can see all the sable orange hairs lol. He doesn't mind though, he is much less needy/much more independent. Tikka LOVES it, she sleeps between us just like a human. She lays on her side facing away from me and has the covers up to her front shoulders and stays like that ALL night long... she literally thinks she's human! Every once in awhile she sleeps in a ball form but usually just like a human covers and all! <3 During the day when she wants a nap she takes the liberty of using the bed as her own as well, where as Pooter hangs out in the kennel on his own lol. |
Lucy is the best snuggler ever. She doesn't move much; but she's smart and knows she's small ~ so if YOU move, she's making sure she's not in the way. She rarely gets up in the middle of the night and she's just my little snuggle bunny. |

Welcome to YT!!! |
Our baby sleeps with us. Hubby started it, he never let any of our others dogs sleep with us. He spoils this little one like crazy. If I knew he liked Yorkies so much I'd got one long ago.:D |
One of ZoE's nicknames is snugglebug cos she's such a lil snuggler. She loves cuddling and sleeps with her head on my shoulder and often nuzzles her nose into my neck. If I roll over onto my side, she snuggle right up against my back. I love it! I am wondering how much I'm gonna love it in the heat of the summer though...lol |
@ytjilly thanks I just got her I used this site to help me find out more about the breed before purchasing... looooove her! and same with my husband he isn't a big fan of Pooter and wasn't a fan of our chihuahua neither of them are allowed in bed but with tikka he actually calls her into bed with us and let's her lick his face and she sits on his lap at the table. <3 |
All my dogs have bedtimes, that was so weird to me. Teddie is no different, he goes to bed at the same time every night and pretty well stays asleep with us with little to no movement. He sleeps in between me and the DH, he always has to go over and lick DH before he lays down and goes to bed. I think it's cute! :p Most of the time he sleeps with us, every once in a while he just wants to sleep next to us in his bed on the floor. Love it!! |
Oh yea, both my westie and lil fur butt Bella sleeps in Bed with us. Unfortunately I am the one in the middle, lol. It's all good though. I wouldn't be able to sleep without them. |
Im a tummy sleeper and dont move. Bobbi used to sleep on my back as a pup. Aja snuggles on my hakr. I love it. |
Bella started off in her crate until about 3 and a half months then she slept in the bed with us. About a month ago she started doing this weird thing. When we go to bed, she'll jump up and give us our good night kisses, then head under the bed. Its pretty tight down there...she has to wiggle on her belly (although it's funny when we're playing with her down there...she can move fast on her belly..she looks like a little bug) but then sometime during the night, she ends up coming back in bed and burrowing under the covers. We can't figure out why she does this. And sometimes when she goes under the bed, she'll growl and yip a little which we can't figure out what that means either! |

I have 6 that sleep on the bed with me and 2 who prefer to sleep in their own beds. They own half of the bed and they all have their preferred sleeping spots. 3 of them sleep under the covers with me every night. I call them my little bed warmers as they sure do keep me nice and warm, lol. I've trained them all from the time they were pups. They were either crate trained or wore a diaper until I knew for sure they wouldn't ever have an accident on the bed. It has worked out great. It's funny because they know the phrase "ready for bed" and they get so excited to hear it. I never knew dogs could be so excited to go to bed, lol. |

Since we've only had Oliver for 8 whole days now, he's in his crate. As soon as I'm 100% sure of his house broken-ness he'll be in our bed. He'll have to fight off the cat for the prime spot next to my head though  |
