My daughter sounds like your two!! Maybe it's the age or something. She is 21. She always tells me "I treat Louie better than her":D. Which I respond with " That's because he always listens to me, and he thinks I'm the book of knowledge".:D |
I don't have any kids, but my mom is very jealous. She tells me she wishes she was fluffy, had 4 legs and a tail; maybe I'd pay attention and love her more. |
DH and kids are a wee bit. Kids are 19 and 16. My 16 yo son did tell me though, if it was between having another kid and Teddie, good choice on picking Teddie. LOL |
I don't have kids yet. But everyone comments if your like this with your yorkies I can only imagine how much you'll spoil n talk abt Ure kids lol |
Yep... mine gets jealous.. Sometimes I tell her to go play with her brother.. She freaks out when I say that!! lol :D |
I think they are a little. They "joke" and say I've replaced each of them with a Yorkie (they even refer to them by each other's names - comparing themselves to the similar dog personality). Here's my latest dilemma: One of my dogs is due the day after my grandson's preschool graduation...nearly 100 miles away from home. I told my daughter I can't leave the dog to possibly die, as well as the puppies as we know she could have those puppies at any time during those few days. My daughter felt I was putting the dog before her son (I will be heartbroken to miss his little graduation but seriously what am I to do??) I think I've found a solution - I asked my breeder who lives in the middle (mileage) of our home and where my daughter lives to babysit (possibly deliver)on that day. My son's jr high graduation is the day before all that (I'm planning on sneaking her into that I guess). Sometimes it's hard to juggle all those kids (fur and skin!!) lol |

No kids..but the BF is another story! |
Grown 30 and 26 year old kids...DH...Inlaws and just about everyone else :D |
Yep, my 27,25 and 17 year old daughter are very jealous of my dogs. They think I should stop everything when they come into town. ;) |
Yep. My grandson, Jayden, who is 3, gets a little jealous when I play with the dogs too much. He will start acting out until he is the star of the show. :) My older kids too say that they have been replaced by 3 pounds of hair! LOL! I think my oldest is just jealous because Bella controls their 60 pound pittbull Nala. Its great fun to watch. Like most yorkies, Bella doesn't realize she is not even 5 pounds. She thinks she is 150 pound Great Dane. :) |
My son (only child) married in Dec and had moved out in Oct 2010. I don't see him as much since he married (wonder why?) LOL When he does come over he is like gosh you let them make messes and leave their toys everywhere. You never let me do that. I am wondering if they are in your will now and I have been cut out. LOL My BF says you talk to those dogs better than me. |

Yep ... all grown, married and out of the house [well, except one that came back]. I just tell them "you could have stayed home"! :sidesplt: My 47 year old does refer to Toto as his "little sister". ;) |
Absolutely!!!! My daughter call them her brother and sister and my son says stuff like "Mom, have you forgotten the word NO" or "how many toys do those dogs need", "do you have pictures of them in your office"...yep definitely jealous. |
