Teacup Yorkie:p Nah, I usually say Yorkshire terrier if I'm not sure how much the person knows about dogs. Yorkie doesn't tell them much if hey don't know the breed. |

At times like that I always wish I was ready on the spot with a snappy comeback! But, I never think of them 'til much later. |

I say Yorkies (I have 2). If someone asks me to repeat it or asks me what that is then I say Yorkshire Terriers. Funny thing is that they usually know what they are then. |
I usually say Yorkie. It's just quicker and easier. Once, a woman asked what type of dog Belle was and I said Yorkshire Terrier... she responded by saying, "Oh, so she's a Yorkie mixed with some kind of terrier?" |
Julie this is a cute thread:p I say yorkie most of the time. I get the questions like "is it a rat?? lol" not funny:( or "omg.. and furious ankle biter" also not funny. Most of the time people say oh how cute.. is that a yorkie? I mostly have her dressed up when she is out. I have my speech ready when asked if she is a teacup.. one time a lady asked if she was a toy.. I started my speech about half way through I realized she was just asking if she was in the "toy" group. She really didn't know much about the different breads or yorkies. Now.. at home she is my furbaby, my cuddle monster:eek: well... when I can get her away from dh!!!!!!!!! |
Yorkie, It fits his personality!:aimeeyork |
