Awwwwww I kinda know how you feel. I think that the people who are 'friends' have probably been friends for awhile. I too don't get many PMs and wish I would get more. I think its just about finding those who you have things in common with, maybe other than yorkies??? Not sure......add me as a friend for sure!!!!!

Hi:) I'll be your friend too:D It's not corney at all. I've been on here for about only 2 months so I'm just starting to kind of recognize some people's names in the threads and PM and friend request them when I notice something in common with them or vice versa. Like someone else said, just jump in lol. As anyone who recognizes my profile name probably is already starting to learn, I definatly have a "gift for gab";) (as my dh will attest to)and I sometimes get carried away and send these LONG PMs lol. I would love to go to a meet up one of these days (I'm in NE PA) :) and I'm sure that has helped alot of people here bond. The other thing I've been doing to "make friends" is going through the pictures and videos sections and as someone else mentioned, the non-yorkie and "other" threads. I made friends with a fellow Twilight fan lol (hi ErinsWhitney:D) on a thread about "how did you name your Yorkie".

I don't get a ton of PMs either. I mean, there are several people that I PM with regularly, but other than that, they are pretty random. Have gotten quite a few sick pup PMs.

The people I do talk to regularly really enjoy veterinary medicine. We tend to want to gab about things that would bore everyone else on the forum to tears. ;)

:( Ohhh! I think I'm one of those rude people...So sorry :embarasse I've been around for a while, but I still get lost, side-tracked, and confused in this site some times. I always forget to go to the PM area or I lose my way around :facepalm:

Most of my PM's are regarding items I am purchasing/ purchased- so if you become a shop-a-holic the PM box will start to fill- LOL!

I want to join you guys for Margaritas, especially if Peach ones are involved- yummy :)

You know what I thought? In Facebook, it is considered rude to send a friend request to someone that doesn't know you, so I get sort of embarrassed to PM someone that doesn't know me. So in my case is not that I'm not wanting to connect, is more fear of invading someone's space :p

I'm a chicken, I know :D

Oh my! I hope I haven't been considered rude on here. I have sent PM's to people I don't know. I certainly did not intend to be. :confused:

No, I've PM and befriended a bunch of people i don't know. FB is really different, there's all kinds of wierdos and perverts and hackers on there that you have to watch out for so that's why you have to be carefull on there. YTers are great! No need to worry here:D

And that is why I don't have a Facebook page! :p I have never had anyone be rude to me here on YT. As a matter of fact, I feel like I have made many new friends. I also know they are here for me when I need support or a good job pat on my back! And they tell me how cute my baby is! :D What more could you ask for? :):):)
