Harley is grid trained, so the papers go in the trash, cause that's where our garbage sorting guide wants it, they actually say that biodegradable poop bags should not go in the organic bin, but I do anyway when I'm outside.

Inside the poo goes down the toilet, I keep a roll of toilet paper next to his grid.

Flush!! How is sitting on a toilet that the dog never touched any less sanitary than sitting on a toilet that my big white bare butt sat on? Dog turds are way smaller than people turds and always wrapped in TP, at least at our house. And they don't splash. ;)

I'm sorry, but that just seems silly. What is your friend planning to do? Swim in there? Drink out of it?

If your friend has a problem with waste in the toilet, tell her about the FDA Food Defect Action Levels. She'll never eat again. So she won't need to use your polluted toilet. Problem solved.

I live mainly by myself, plus my 2-furbabies. I don't have alot of trash and if it is something that is going to smell I take it to the big trash. I wig out too bad about odors and I don't want nothing smelly in my inside garbage.
If my inside garbage is full and I know I am taking it out, I will put it in there. But mostly keep a roll of toilet paper easy to grab near the potty pads and pick up the poop and flush.
