I definitely will be getting Teddy a car seat. Is the Snoozer the best one? I just looked online and there are so many options. Which one would you all recommend? |
winston also winston gets sick in the car also, we bought a seat and that didn't help. He is 10 months and it is not fun. I have just bought a thundershirt and am going to try it. They give you 45 days, and if it doesn't work you can return it. It is also made to help in barking and he just started that at anything that moves around him. Hope it helps, gook luck :aimeeyork:aimeeyork |

Toby gets car sick if we go up and down hills and on winding roads (after being in the car for about an hour) so we give him 1/2 Dramamine which the vet said is sufficient for an 8 lb. dog. I used to give him 1/4 but it didn't always help. I give him 1/2 about an hour before we leave and so far it has worked every time. We go camping and it's about a two hour drive so about the last 1/2 hour is hills and winding roads. Coming home I don't give him a Dramamine because the hills and winding roads are out of the way first thing. You might want to try that. I am also going to look into the Cocculus. I had never heard of it. |
Ruger didn't like the car seat I got him, and I tried to stop and let him out of the car about every 30 miles. Sometimes he'd get sick as I pulled into my driveway. I just started taking him with me whenever I got in the car, even if it was a short hop to the post office. So far so good. I don't know if he just got used to it, or his getting older solved the problem. BTW, I still keep a towel in the back just in case. |
