Well...we're not getting another yorkie :thumbdown we are getting a silky-poo, she is a adorable little thing! :D I just talked to him about the pros and cons about having another little furbaby. And the pros won! yay! |
OMG love this post. I remember how I convinced the BF to get Harley. I walked in, sat infront of the TV, said to him, i have a question and if you say yes now you are not allowed to change your mind at all. then I said, "can we get a dog" and I nearly keeled over he said yes.. Now he says that when we have more money we can get harley a sibbling, but he seems to think that we are only ever going to have two dogs.... I've got news for him... I def thing there will be some sexual bartering.... lol. Now if only I could get in the "we have enough money for a second dog" situation... |
My hubby said no more dogs after the first one. Well I got number 2 he didnt really speak for a few hrs. He said that's it I mean it!!! Well I got number 3 ! I sadly just lost number 1 , Molly, and he said "That's it no more"! Well my new yorkie "Miley" will be here in about 8 weeks. I say just do it , they will get over and forgive I did the same thing with my parrots and my cats and he's still here after 34 yrs, and yes we still love eachother! LOL |
My brother doesn't really like pets so my sister in law just bought a dog without telling him when they were on vacation in another state and had my neice hand him the dog and tell him they got a dog. What could he do....he was mad for a little while but that was the ony way she could have gotten one....he would have never just said yes. That's also how she gets all her tattoo's...he would never tell her she could get one so she gets them and then shows him. I remember my favorite boss told me that sometimes it's easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission. :D |
Oh when we were little we wanted a cat and knew my dad wouldn't let us so we got the cat for my dad for Father's Day. We gave it to him in a box and he just did a little laugh and then went and took a shower. We didn't know what that meant. We then went to church and someone asked him at church what he got for Father's Day and he said "the kids got themselves a cat" so we knew we were going to get to keep him! Sometime trickery works! |

Nothing says love like a Yorkie:yorkieboy: |
I love all these stories! BF here always tells me "less dogs not more" They are his favorite "last line of defense excuse in an argument" it always goes back to 'my dogs' Same deal here, as soon as he comes in the door, where's his Princess baby girl at, well there she is waiting at the door for him on schedule! I sneak pics of him snuggling her all the time! He denies it but he loves the Yorkies too, I still haven't gotten sneaky Pavarotti enough to get pics of him snuggling them, oh but I will! I also love how when bock's at the expenses of some dogs here, he is the one who buys unplanned extras at the pet store when picking up food, gourmet dog treats, new toys, another bag of treats etc! Not to mention he sneaks them people food treats; breads and pasta! |

For me.... Didn't get our first Yorkie until 15 years into our marriage. My DH was okay with the first one, furious about the second (but he go over it and now she is Daddy's girl) and now I am working on him about possibly fostering. I think he is "cracking." ;) |
My boyfriend tried with no avail to talk me out of getting Hercules. But I'm in Florida until June and he is in Missouri. So I got him and then told him he was a new daddy. He took it the wrong way at first, but we sorted it out.=) He hasn't gotten a chance to meet Herc yet, but I know that he will love him as much as I do!! |
