Bell ringing backfire

So the husband and I are teaching Gizmo to ring the bell to go outside to go potty. I come home from work today to have my husband tell me that Gizmo does in fact ring the bells to go outside, however when he wants to romp and chase the ducks, bark at the no-see-ums, and howl at the hound next door, he will then too ring the bells.

I knew Yorkies were smart, but dang.

He'll outgrow doing that. Mine rang the bells for all sorts of reasons - even to get me to come into the room to play with her. That all passed and she did get to the point where she just rang them to potty. It didn't take that long. Just gotta get past the puppy stage. I love our bells. I never have to worry. I can hear them all over the house.

Roxy does this too lol. It turns out they train us with the bells. You can't even be upset about it either cause it's just so darn smart and cute
