Just went shopping for the new baby, but didn't get the one thing I probably need more than anything (the breeder is providing a crate and food and I already have pee pads:)). I bought bowls, a bed, harness, leash, toys, and more food just to get us started.

I couldn't find a playpen, x-pen, whatever you want to call it that I liked! I have paralysis of analysis after researching all week. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I don't need one of those tiny ones that everybody decorates - I think he will already be able to escape that!

Tomorrow is the big day.:woohoo::newarrow: :yorkiej: We can't wait to see pictures of your new boy. I would also research the xpen playpen. I remember reading threads about dogs who were hurt trying to climb out of the x-pens. Nicco has such a beautiful full name. I am sure it will come to you as you get to know him. Best wishes.

I love these there's three brands listed in this thread...I use the medium best pet from Amazon it was the cheapest and they're great for portability and storage.

My mini schnauzie figured out she can escape if the floor isn't anchored down though...but she's quite rough...a slatted wooden children's play yard also works great for escape artists if the slats aren't too wide.

So, this is the pen I ordered:

I am annoyed that I can't get it immediately, but that's what I get for waiting to make a decision!

Kinda cute, huh? I got the biggest one to give him more room to roam. I saw lots of members here posting that they like this playpen so I hope it works out for me!:)

Finally! We are home and getting settled in! I cannot get a good photo of him, but here are a couple that don't do him justice! His name is Nealstar's Dashing 'N D'Lightful and we are calling him Dash. His breeder said it fits his personality to a tee.:)

Well hells bells. Barbara Scott's Jim last years #1 dog......However, is the Dam the female that took BOS at the Roving National in Las Vegas? If so, I was sitting behind Thedus when it happened and she was crying like a baby....

Jim took BOB at the Roving and the Northern California that weekend..
