When I got Apple, Chuck was only 7 mo old and I had the same concern about the pee pads. But thankfully Chuck was fully trained and Apple just followed his lead and started to use the pee pads from day one (you know- apart from the occasional puppy accidents ). Chuck is 2 now and Apple is 1 ½ and they are using the same pad. The only down side to this is that you need to change the pads more often… :D |
I absolutely think 2 are better than one. Darcy and Lizzie play together all the time. He has a small issue with sharing toys! He will lie on the couch with his head hanging over, watching her play with a toy, and the minute she looks sideways - he's down and on it - she will chase him but never get angry with him! He used to lie on the back of the couch when I was sitting at night watching TV, but now he lies right beside me and she lies right behind me on the back of the couch!! She loves him, but loves me too - I get lots of kisses from her and he just likes to be beside me or on my knees!! I work in the summer, and I am soooo happy they have each other:D |
For me 2 are better than 1. Jersey boy was 1/12 when we brought Brielle home. It's great now they have each other. The only thing to consider is the cost, it's much more expensive to have 2, vet, grooming etc..... |
