| Gingham Hair Bows with Alligator Clips I love these. I'm too cheap to pay shipping for little bows though so I make my own.

| Do alligator clips stay in their hair? I used barrettes and snap ons...none of them stays. I find that rubber bands or skinny scrunchy bands work best.

| They stay in Beamer's hair. Never had a problem. I do try to take them out every night to redo his topknot, but sometimes my hands are too bad and he goes a couple of nights, but his bow always stays in.

| Darling Beauxs as well as Bow Biz will add an alligator clip to any bow you buy. They are both a pleasure to buy from. I put Kaji's hair up with a rubber band, and place the clip right underneath it. Stays in all day!

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I just wanted to stop in and say I offer the Gripzie clips in my store. Gripzie clips are alligator clips that are lined with a small piece of adhesive backed foam, making the bow stay put on your pup! I would be happy to help you if you are interested! Thanks! |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I also buy from Darlin Beaux's. She offers some really pretty bows and will custom make one for you if you need it. For some reason my girls seem to think that a bow in their hair is just a "handle" for them to pull on - and Darlin' Beaux's have held up to the abuse. She also offers these things called Gripzies - which are small pieces of foam attached to the alligator clip to help hold the hair in place. If you search for my posts - I recently posted St. Patty's day bows that she custom made for my girls as well as the bows below to match a dress I bought. (love showing off my girls) I know you won't be sorry going with Amy.

Thank you for posting my link CG. I am not the bow maker with the bows for Japan, but Darlin Beauxs has donated over $1000 in bows sold for Susan G. Komen, The Pasadena Poodle Patch, and for a special forum friend whose Yorkie had severe medical problems. Most of this is done on Facebook, or thru my store. Thanks Again! Amy | |
