When I was teaching Lila (my Chi) to shake, (which she picked up after one try, the smart little devil :D ) I taught her "shake" meant HER right (my left) paw. Well, when I went back to teach her to shake the other paw, I had about a minute's hesitation about what the command should be: should I make the command "right" because I was extending MY right hand to receive the paw... or "left" because it was HER left leg? Well, I ended up teaching her "left", because, obviously, it makes more sense to teach her HER left from HER right... But my point is, I had to think about which leg I should call it, lol!
I know that may sound a bit silly of me to even have to think about it... but I'm sure that something similar happened here. We humans tend to be very egocentric creatures, so I'm sure she simply said HER right, when what she meant to say was her PUPPY'S left.
Regardless, I'm so sorry this happened to "your" beautiful baby... Because I know a little price of your heart is always with them, no matter who has them now. I'll pray for her safe and total recovery, and may God bless you and all your little ones! |
