I think you can only be so nice, and then you have to step in and take control.
How old is this little one? Why does she leave her like this for so long? That is not love.
She is not responsible enough to have a little dog, can you take her?
I hope I don't have bad dreams tonight, just thinking about her makes me so very sad. | This baby is 10 months old. Still a puppy. I cannot stop thinking of her tonight.i am going to need to talk to her again tommorow , and see what she is doing for her puppy. Having her stay in a small room while she works , even if the pup has food and water, to me is STILL not good enough . Somehow I have to convince her to at least take the pup to a vet... Somehow i have to convince her to at least let me take care of her when she can't . Leaving her with family has proven the wrong thing to do. Although the puppy seemed pretty active , her weight could not of been more then a pound. I think that Nancy is concerned and at least took her pup home with her. But, as so many of you said ,she needs to be seen by a vet asap... I am very scared that she is beyond the point of getting her well. BUt the puppy was gobbling down food when I hand fed her, then used a measuring cup to scoop the kibble out, she was eating and gobbling the kibble as fast as she could. Nancy did ask me where to buy the Wellness super 5 mix for small breeds and I let her know. I was able to only find one more canned food I had that is 95% protein. But told her not to change foods on her drastically . Nancy kept tellling me how thin her hair was, too, but their were no bald spots or anything, just that she looked very disgustingly thin. I told Nancy that I could fix her up grooming wise , and take her while she worked. I'll try again and ask her . but, I am not going to handle this well if the puppy subcombs while I am helping her take care of her.
I do not understand this at all. I free feed my 2 girls , and both are at a healthy weight. The really scary part of it is that if ths puppy is not getting enough water, she could also be dehydrated too. Especially that this is a extremely little yorkie.
one thought crossed my mind was that those girls were delibertely underfeeding her so she would not grow any bigger. She was already on the super micro mini size yorkie. I have seen tiny yorkie's before, but never suffering from malnurishment.
I am a little scared to take her , because of her size, but, if I can get her, she would be seen by the vet, and fed well. I have seen a lot of Chi's.. Nancy's yorkie is smaller then them as puppies. I am uncertain if Nancy even realizes the severity of her puppy's condition.
I was NOT prepared to see her yorkie in such bad shape. |
