My little Rocky is Missing
 
My heart is broken as my Rocky, 8yr old Yorkie is missing and we feel someone has taken him. He got loose when someone came to our home and we have search the entire neighborhood and no sign of him. I feel like a part of me is gone and the tears won't stop.

I am so sorry for you and Rocky. Try putting up flyers, notify vets and shelters and ads in paper. I hope you find him. Please keep us posted. We welcome you here to YT!

Pet Amber Alert, call your local animal control, police department, post pics on all lost listings: fliers on street corners at local vets, humane society, rescues, craiglist eBay classified...getting the word out as soon as possible is often the key!

I really hope he makes it home please post a pic on here or upload a missing flier people here and post in various places for you also!

Missing Rocky
 
We have fliers out plus have notified all the authorities. Today we are walking house to house in our area as we feel someone has him. There's no way he could get out of our area unless someone took him.

How do I post his picture?

Click post reply on the bottom left of this thread.
Type in here's a copy of my flier that you have scanned onto you pc or a pic you have..
Scroll down to Additional options...see the manage attachments button click it
browse (don't forget to hit upload after the doc or pic show in the upload box)
close window post
***many times pics will be too large I use this because it's easy and walks you through it...at the end I click the preview and right click and save as...

I really hope you find Rocky soon... These first couple days are crucial to him coming home. Make sure you post ads on Craigslist, walk door to door, pass out/post fliers and just make sure people know what he looks like and that he is missing.

Oh No! I hope you find Rocky soon.
Others have give you excellent advice. Check online resources for found animals too.
I will say a prayer right now that Rocky finds his way home.

Missing Yorkie
 
Please put up on you flyers reward with no amount and needs medications ASAP, some one took my Kaycee out of the yard and I put up signs right away without that information and 3 days later I put up the new information and he was home within 3 days.My Kaycee will hyperventilate when there is thunder so she thought he needed his meds and also she did not ask me how to get to my home, grrr I gave her $50.00 and also some people don't realize how needy they are and how close they are to having a real baby. I love how my 3 little chicks will just follow me every where I go and they like to snuggle with there mom.

One of my worst fears is not only loosing one of my babies but loosing them and someone not knowing Scoobers is allergic to corn, Princess drinks from a water bottle will vomit if not fed from a raised feeder (reflux), and is severely allergic to fleas...let alone Elvis is epileptic!

Not even to mention, Scoober has serious separation anxiety, Elvis looks all cute and snuggly but will snap a finger like a chicken bone...and every night when its time for Dad to get off work Princess is like a clock waiting in the front window for him...if he works late she'll get all depressed and pout there for hours or until he's home...

I think I'd not only post reward, needs meds...list any all meds and allergies, but a note about something personal...again I'm so terrified someone would find my dog and decide either to keep them and not know their needs (or just keep them). Then I'd be darn sure every vet from here to Kalamazoo MS knew my dog was missing and the meds they needed in hopes they'd be found that way too...say please scan for microchip STOLEN DOG on the fliers to the vets...

Good luck! I have been there before. We put an add in the paper with the area Napoleon was lost from. He was missing for 3 long days! Turns out a lady in the area found him and gave him to a friend with a yorkie who lived an hour away. She called back from the ad and he was returned safe and sound. Best of luck to you and Rocky, keep the faith there are good people out there.

Put out fliers offering rewards to anyone noticing a neighbor with a "new yorkie"
If that were my baby money, his return home is priceless. I am soooo sorry. please please keep us posted.

I would also go to Craigslist , post missing dog, needs medication , and a contact number.. I would do this in surrounding towns that you live close to. Is Rocky microchipped? If so , call local vets in your area to be on the lookout for your missing yorkie. Check everyday at your local animal shelter to see if anybody turned him in .
I wish you the best , finding your Rocky, he must be pretty confused as to what happened. I hope you find him as soon as possible.
