My daughter lost her yorkie last year.....she escaped outside when her bil stopped by....she was missing for an entire WEEK! She put up fliers..and we offered a reward....a week later a woman turned her yorkie in to Animal control!! She never asked for the reward....apparently she couldn't get the yorkie to eat anything or sleep at night...so she decided to give her up...(she even told Animal control that!:eek:)

My daughter plastered the town with fliers...we really think that helped!! Everyone was familiar with her yorkies face!! I think it made the woman nervous as well!

I hope you find your little guy!! Don't give up!!

Thanks for all your prayers. It's now over a week and still can't find him. The police are aware and hopefully whoever has him will realize he needs his home. He's been with us for 8 years and my heart is broken right now. Jeanette

I scanned through the threads, I am so sorry that Rocky is missing. I have had a baby stollen from my yard years ago and he was never returned I looked forever going through the streets calling him I thought that if someone local had taken him that he would hear me. Is Rocky micro chipped? My baby was not. Charlie is chipped I feel better about it but still you worry

I'm so sorry your Rocky is lost or has been stolen. Does he have a microchip? If so, notify the company. I pray you'll find your darling pup very soon.

Yes, Rocky has a chip and I've notified the company that he's missing. It's now been over a week and no luck so far. The police animal control called again and said they haven't seen him but are alerted and looking for him. We have fliers all over the place and now ads in the newspaper. How cruel can people be especially when he had his collar on with name and phone # & license. Very, very sad. I just hope and pray he's OK.

Sounds like you are doing all you can...did you look at Pet Amber alert or upload a flier on here so people can pass it around internet social networks like FB etc...I'll post on mine...also did you fax copies of the flier to all local vets?

Jeanette, my sister lost her little dog, chipped, etc., with no result after much calling/looking, etc. It was much, much later when her mailwoman knocked on her door and asked her if her little dog was still missing and she of course said yes. The mailwoman said that she had seen her dog B4 but could not remember for sure what he looked like and could she see a current picture as she had just seen a dog in the yard of a house 2 blocks down that reminded her of my sister's dog and she wondered if it could be the same dog. My sister got the picture - it was the same dog. She and the mailwoman went down to the house, saw Tavi and got him! If you haven't already done so, ask your mailperson to be on the lookout for your dog. Best of luck - hope you find little Rocky very soon.
