Who lives in Texas? I feel like I see a lot of Texas locations in posts, and I'm always happy to see the fellow Texans. I'd love to hear from "Ya'll" to know who you are and learn more about you. Is there ever a Texas Yorkies Round Up type gathering? I think that would be really fun to plan and attend. Anyone else have thoughts about that? |
Hello there! I am from Royse City. It's about 20-30 min East of Dallas. Depends on the driver. :D I grew up in Mesquite! My dad still lives there. I think a meet with our Yorkies would be fun! Bella really does need some girl and boy friends to play with! :) |
How old are your human kids? Do you work outside the home? |
My children are 13,10,7,3, and 1. No, I am fortunate enough to be able to stay home with my fur and skin kids! Actually our 5th child was a surprise and a miracle wrapped into one! We had never planned to have another, but God had other plans! :) |

Hey there to you too! I know where San Angelo is! My BIL used to live there. Well, I never went there to visit, but I know it's far from where I'm at! lol You too are one busy lady! Sometimes I wonder how I manage to keep it all together. There is NEVER an uneventful day around here! I would trade it for nothing though! Congrats on your upcoming new addition! Can't wait to see that baby! :D |

Hi!! I live in Tulia which is right smack in between Amarillo and Lubbock. We are down in the Dallas area often for my "human" childrens sports activities!! I was raised by Corpus! So a big hello to my fellow Texans!!:D |

Heck I can't wait until I can remember what it's like to get a solid nights sleep, or keeping tiny fingers out of EVERYTHING ALL THE TIME! lol TxVicki You're fairly close as well. We definately should make a playdate for our dogs! Even though Bella has her uncle for playtime, he's 13 and doesn't always welcome her spunk and youthfulness! :p |

Hi, I am in Arlington. I have seen where they have tried to do a few meetups but they were farther away and at the time I was unable to go. Me and Emme did go to one in College Station several years ago and that was fun to meet everyone. |

Hi y'all...I live in San Antonio. I have a 19 and 16 year old. Then I have 4 furbabies...black lab 10, german shepherd mix 6, pom 4, and a yorkie baby 12 weeks. Nice to see so many Texans. |

Hi! We are in....wait for it...Waco, TX! :p Who would guess? :rolleyes: If you don't know, it's halfway between DFW and Austin. We have two yorkies, Gizmo just turned four and Kandi will be three in July. There are quite a lot of YTers in Texas. Check out the threads in the Southwest section. The Houston group seems to be the most active regarding meetups, but we've had a couple here in Waco and Dallas is very active as well. Check out the special section for different parts of the country and look in Southwest. Any meetups will usually be posted there. I'm a teacher, so I'm usually only active in the summer months. We have two skin kids, but both are grown up and out of the house. The yorkies are helping us adjust to being "empty nesters". :) -Judy |
Judy (in....Waco was it?)--I'm about to be an empty nester too. So, we're teaching Zoe to be a travel dog. Where's the Southwest section...I don't think I've ever seen those, but will look more carefully. |
