My babies love everybody but so far they haven't been around any young children. However my room mate has two very young nieces 2 and 1 so we'll see how things go when they come to visit one day. |
Bella likes kids, but is wary of them. She adores older kids, and loves my 3 1/2 year old grandson when he is sleeping or quiet. She loves to snuggle up to him and sleep with him. Jett has never been around kids other than my 10 year old son and grandson. He too is wary but likes to play with the little one when he isn't too excited! |
Tibbe's wary but interested but never gets to really be exposed to other than passing kids. I wouldn't let little ones play with him as both are unpredictable with one another. Whenver kids approach the back fence, he usually backs out of harm's way which is good I guess, as my sister said she saw a little kid throw a rock at her dog the other day. Unpredictable. |
I hope she hunted down a parent and let them know...then again these days that doesn't always mean will be done. Quote:

Pebbles loves kids. |
Oh, she's legally blind and physically ill right now and couldn't but she sure would have B4 all this! I would hate to be the parent of that kid were my sister her old self! |
Abby loves my son and is friendly with most kids. I think she can sense the really hyper ones and so she's a bit careful when around them - timid and scared, but if they turn out to be gentle and friendly, then she warms up to them pretty fast. (but then again, i think she's like that with the hyper ones because she saw one of my nephews being mean to another dog in the family, so she's cautious) |
Remy has never been around kids. I think he would do great though because he loves all people. Winston(schnauzer) LOVES kids. He ran to my neighbors once because her granddaughter and her were outside. Poor girl got slobber everywhere. He loves to give kisses and play chase :D! |
We have 16 grandchildren so our two girls have been socialized very well. All the children know how to play with the girls and to leave their "houses" alone. We are fortunate that the girls love our grandkids and that the grandkids love our girls. When we take our girls places they always love to be petted by children but we always tell them to pet them gently and so far haven't had any probems. |
Dudley loves everyone, grown-ups, kids, anyone that will give him attention. Kayla is alittle skittish around kids. I don't think she would actually bite but she seems not to take to kids like she does grown-ups. Any adult she will take up with immediately. |
Heidi is always delighted to see other people, but when she sees a kid, oh my goodness, she goes nuts. There will be a room full of people, but you can watch her face and she will zero in on a kid blocking out everyone else. Which is a good thing because we have begun going to the Childrens Hospital for visits. I taught her to ride in this little toy wagon & I pull it down the hall to the rooms. She looks so cute I can't hardly stand it. It always brings a smile on the kids' face. |
:) poppy is good with older kids  but she is not good with toddlers :) i dont let small children touch her , ;) love jill n poppy xx :aimeeyork |
1 yes 1 no Sophie, who we got as a pup, likes my grand children 7, 9 & 13. We introduced her to them slowly and carefully, but she doesn't like strangers big or small. Bella, who we got as a 1yo, likes any adults but no little kids. She tolerates the 13 yo. Since we have only had her since November I am hoping her opinion of them will improve. Plus they will be getting bigger. |
Khloe adores kids. In fact, when it is just Jimmy and I at the house, she lays around and acts like a geriatric. lol. But when the kids get home, she's playful, spunky, and really enjoys their company. They bring out the puppy in her. |
