I would get both too!! They are just too cute to have to choose! I wish I would've got Lucky's brother, too! He was going to be really really tiny though. He probably would be only about 3 maybe 4lbs full grown. Oh, well....that just means I get to go puppy shopping again! LOL! :D Good luck & welcome to YorkieTalk! You'll love it here! And please post more pics when you decide! :aimeeyork |
I honestly think the shy one is just shy for now. Starsky was like that when we got him. He was so mellow. Now he's rowdy as ever and he is in charge over our beagle. He still has his mellowed out times when he's tired and will cuddle when he wants to. So I think either one of those dogs will work out for you. Their personalities really will change. |
The spunky one if you have to choose but I agree that yorkies should come in 2's because then they are never left alone which they hate! I have 3 and my youngest was just gone over night at the vets to get spayed and the other 2 missed her something terrible! They definately need a friend! |
I would get the shy one. My jewels was on the shy side and she is a cuddler. |
Adorable I would get both but if that is not possible, I would NOT go with the calm one since a puppy should be full of lots of energy. That's just how puppies are and especially yorkies. |
Get both of them. They will be bestest friends for ever!! And they will always have someone to play with!! Suz |
I'm with everyone else. I will take them both!!! |
Ditto on taking them both. They are so cute. They already look bonded. :D |
I think it depends on you and which will fit into your lifestyle. Spunky? Does that mean hyper? Some of these little dogs can be a real handful. ARe you up for the task? Less spunky? What does that mean? Will this pup be the clingy dependent type? Will you take the time to socialize him and bring him out of his shell if he needs it? I would go back a few times before deciding. think about what you want a pet to be like. You can do some training but each of these dogs will have different challenges and strenghs. or go for balance and get them both :D |
first of all, they're both adorable!!! and identical lol. i would get both, because i regret not getting 2 at once, and having to find one that would get along with tuck later. but if you can't do that i'd just go with the one you seem most attached to |
Two would certainly be too much for me, plus the cost! Yeek! However that being said, I would take the spunky one. He might be healthier, but don't know, though, as they both look very healthy. As for the ears, it is pretty young yet for them to go up. You just shave the front and back about a third of the way down on both ears, and they usually go up. If not, you can tape them but I don't think you would have to. Once I shaved Snoodles ears, they came uop in about a week. Although, my daughter and husband liked them better down. Let us know what you decide! Pat |
i went back because i was thinking about getting both. Someone bought the other one that quick. I had chose the calm one. When i went back over there they both were all over the place. And the one which was calm was not like "i dont want to be bothered" he was more like "ok i like sitting with you" The other one the spunky one was more like "let me go let me get down" |
So, you got him? |
Congratulations! Do you have kids. My shy one doesnt do well with kids. Shes not aggressive but will hide from little kids. She doesnt like any loud noises or commotion where my other rambuncious male doesnt mind children at all. |
Id have to get both there soooooooooooo cute, if not id get the less spunky one as i love cuddles. cant you get both? |
