my advice is that you have been dealing with a greeder this whole time and if she offers you any puppy at all i would take it and run no matter what because at this point u are already out the money for it and might as well do a puppy a favor and get it out of her hands and into a loving home away from this awful woman. i mean you can't get ur money back so you might as well use it to basically rescue whatever puppy she will give you. good luck. so sorry you went through all of this and i hope you do get a really cute and sweet puppy that lives a long time with good health somehow! |

I dont like the way this Breeder took a picture of the puppy next to a can of soda. She sounds like a real winner  What does her contract say? Or did she not have one. |
Good Luck with your new baby. 3 of my 4 yorkies came from the same breeder, different litters. The parents are 7-8 lbs, the puppies turned out to be 16 lbs, 9 lbs and 6 lbs. You never know what can happen. Of course my breeder would have given me my money back or a healthy puppy. She would have been upset herself that one of her puppies died. |
New pup arrives 2 Attachment(s) I wanted to thank everyone for all the help. I did go and get him and just got back. He looked so sad when we got him and the whole trip he just layed there staring kind of in space.. When we got home he got a few pieces of kibble and has gone mad.. He's running around the room chasing the cat and just so happy and excited. He needs a bath and a week on some really good dog food and of course love and attention and I think he'll be in better shape and happy with his new home. He just seems like the sweetest dog and I'm pretty happy I got him. I just weighed him and he's around 4.3 he wouldn't hold still so it could be a little less or a little more.. I'm extremely glad he's running around and being so playful and acting like a pup should... Attachment 338279 Attachment 338280 |

I'm very happy that I got this little guy even through all this and he seems pretty healthy and we'll know for sure this coming week because he's going straight to the vet. We also think the flash was to bright on her camera or something and it just messed with all the features on him.. I'll try taking pictures tomorrow when the suns out and no flash is needed. Thanks again to everyone and I can finally breath a sigh of relief. Sorry about all the stress also.. |
He's a cutie! And I'm told that the green reflection in his eyes means a silky coat. My Shadow has more of a cottony coat and her eyes reflect red. Best of Luck! |

So glad you have him & are happy with him. Congratulations!!! |
Congratulations on your new baby. He ( I Think you said he) What did you name him? I am so glad that you saved him from that lady. He will make you so happy. Post more pictures when you get a chance. |
He's cute! Have you named him yet?:) |
We haven't figured out a name for him yet.. We had a few ideas but figured we'd need about a week to see his personality. Wrong. His personality is already shown in full force.. Pictures don't do him justice. He looks way bigger in pictures and the flash makes him look different. Not that he can sit still for a picture.. My husband already has him sitting, shaking with both paws and giving kisses. He's pretty smart for a pup. I'll add more pictures tomorrow of the little bugger and hopefully we get a name picked out for him. I am curious though because a few said that the green eye is silk dogs.. He needs a bath though he's not as shiny as I think he can be.. Any ideas on names? He's got the spunky attitude, afraid of nothing and wild... And he watches tv.... I already fell in love with him and he's gonna have the best home ever. |
Congrats! He's so cute. My Max was 4 pounds at 11 weeks. He's now almost 9 months and weighs 12.5 pounds. Teapots are adorable. |

aww your yorki is gonna be on the larger side. -.- my yorki was 1000$ and is an 11 pounder...im never going to that breeder again! |
3 Attachment(s) Attachment 338284 Attachment 338285 Alright so I took two without the flash on now that he's getting a little worn out.. One has a remote so you can kind of get the idea how big he really is.. The second is him with my pit bull Kane.. My last yorkie Sid was actually best buddies with Kane.. I have pictures of them cuddled next to eachother and him underneath.. And now this yorkie is cuddled up next to him sleeping.. :D The bottom picture is of my yorkie that passed away.. Sidney.. Attachment 338286 |
How about Cody? Is that too sissy?:D Those pics are cute! You may have to tape his one ear. Don't know. Sidney was very cute, too. I'm really sorry you lost him.:( |

Sidney is the whole reason I decided I'd get another one.. I just didn't ever imagine they could be so wonderful to have. I agree what everyone said when he was too little to have been away from his mom but he was only supposed to get 2.5 lbs full grown.. Poor little guy.. So i'm glad I didn't just give up on the breed... |
Some name ideas! Aidan (means fire) Phoenix (rose from the ashes- also my horses name!) Maverick (means spirit) Cato (means wise) Levi Rudy |
Love the name Amos too! Your pit bull looks like a sweetie. So sorry about Sydney. |
My Nicco was about 4 pounds at 12 weeks and is about 10 lbs at 4 years. His eyes flash green and he has a cottony coat. Did the breeder give you AKC papers to confirm his DOB? His coat isn't breaking so I'd say he is under 12-14 weeks. |

Three weeks with sid and it felt like he was in our lives for about 50 years.. |

Yorkie ears that go up by themselves may also go down during teething and then back up again. If you think he may need help, just let us know. There's an old thread that explains how to tape them, if need be. |
They are black and tan when born and the coats change starting at around 12 weeks. Nicco"s face was pretty pale as his coat started breaking. Now it is a beautiful tan. His saddle (back) is a dark silver color. No longer black like a puppy. You'll know it when it happens. As the hair grows out it will look like his head is turning white, but it should change to tan. Google puppy photos up to 2 years old. That's how long it took my yorkie"s coat to stop changing. |

No way is that the same pup the young one had erect ears the older one has only one erect ear and the pup will probably end up twelve pounds |
