hi everyone!!!!!
so I am going to adopt another yorkie! I made a deposit for the puppy today and I will pick her up after my visit home [currently living in korea, going to canada for school interview wish me luck!:thumbup::thumbup:]

the breeder and i call her monkey because she has a faux hawk. (strangely koreans thinks monkeys have faux hawks).

I am so at lost with names right now and will greatly appreciate any suggestions!!!!

so a few facts about "monkey" she was both with 2 other puppies (1 male & female), currently she is the biggest though when i first met her she was the smallest. she seems very independant and get along great with other dogs.

few ideas so far:
buttercup (suggested by my friend)
coco (if i wasn't going to get the dog i was going to spend the money on a chanel purse)
(chocolate chip) cookie (she really looks like a cookie lol)

please help me brainstorm some ideas!!!!

now for the pics (these were taken about a month ago.... shes chubbier now :P)

How about Chanel?? :D For the purse that you would have gotten if you didn't get your pup.

Oddly enough when I looked at the photo, the 1st name that popped in my head was Peanut.

i should have mentioned... my best friend wants to name her pug peanut so i definately can't use that name :P

When I looked at her I thought Mitzy or Mimzi but I think out of your list I would pick Coco (like coconut) which made me picture a "monkey" eating one :D fits with her nickname right now too, good luck!

She is precious. Barney did not have his name for two weeks when we got him. Daisy and Teddy had names before they came home. Barney is definitely a Barney but I did want to name him Charlie (couldnt because my husband's deceased guinea pig from when he was 7 was Charlie).

I think you should name her Allie because she lookied like an Allie to me when I saw her photo.

I like Coco...though it took forever to name Rizzo and I'm still giving him nicknames, lol. Today he was dubbed Rudy, because he reminded me of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer...don't ask, lol! (he's over a year old now too, lol)
So don't worry if you can't think of a name right away, one will come to you eventually :)

My vote is for Delilah - just gotta love the song by the Plain White T's!:) She's really beautiful - it could be like our Mabel - had some names picked out, but as soon as I saw her she couldn't be named anything but Mabel! Have fun with her!

My two daughters suggested Coco, and Lydia. I suggest Adaira (means beauty in Greek)!

Just because she looks like a Chocolate Chip cookie now doesn't mean she will look that way when she is bigger. I like Coco and it provides a great story when you introduce her.

The funny thing is, she suggested Coco without knowing it was one of the options!

My husband saw me showing the picture and asking for name suggestions and got worried that I was looking at a puppy for me! Lol!;)

i know!!!! the breeder said she'll grow up to be like her mother. so she'll be light light light! just like my mickey so she definately won't look like a chocolate chip cookies yummmm

I'm liking "Princess Coco Chanel" :) I agree that it makes for a cute story, coco is cute and girlie, and C.C. is even a cute nickname. I think naming is one of the really fun parts of a new pet.

How about Blondie...you know, the yummie dessert that is a light colored chocolate chip brownie/cookie thing?

But really, I LOVE the name C.C. If I had to name a pup myself I would name it Cecelia and call her CC for short. So, CC for Coco Chanel is awesome!

I had a tuff decision when I got my new Esti, I wanted to call her Snookums but thought it was too long, still like the name. Some other names I was looking at was:
Gabi and Gita.
