| What to Expect? My Yorkie, sold as a Teacup, which is nonexistant is 16 weeks old and weighs 4 pounds. She has been in the house most of the time. She, her name is Bella, is just now starting to go outside and only supervised. She weighs 4 lbs. and I was wondering what a good guess could be as to her adult weight? I figure she will lose weight as she runs more and is more active outside. Any thoughts? She is the most loveable little girl and is so happy when anyone comes to visit! |

| guesstimating full grown weight is just that...a guess...but here's a link you can check out....it might give you an 'idea' of her full grown weight. Yorkie Growth Chart So it looks like she'll be around 6 1/2 pounds give or take a pound.

| Hi and welcome!!! Congrats on your new little one!!! I too am in AZ....nice weather we are having huh??? Couldn't ask for better. Your little one will probably be around 7 pounds maybe a bit more or less. You usually double the weight at 12 weeks to get adult weight, but it is just an estimate!

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | She dosnt sound over weight and does not need to loose weight by running around. She is a growing puppy and you need to make sure she is gaining weight. The growth chart is just an estimate but if she is 4lbs at 16 weeks old I would take a guess at around the 6/7lb mark.

| Puppies aren't overweight. She is just genetically programed to be on the larger end of the standard, probably about 6 or 7 pounds. A lot depends on her lines, though. Some lines grow quickly and stop, others grow slowly even into their second year. If you got her from a reputable breeder, she should know her lines many generations back and be able to give you a good estimate of adult weight. |

| My Razael was only 1 pound 11 ounces at 16 week, and now she's three years old and weighs 7 pounds. I know there are charts to go by, but they don't seem to hold true. You just have to wait and see.
