| Fun Thing To Do With My Yorkie Outside? My Yorkshire Terrier, Jill, just loves snow. But I think she's getting bored of going out there and digging for a while and then coming back in. I would go for a walk down the road but I need an adult with me (or my 16 year old brother) and he says it's too cold... so what activities can we do outside? Or inside? Thanks in advance!

♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | when we can't go out because of the rain we play with their interactive toy. Its a big bone shape with little bone compartments which you hide treats in. The dog needs to sniff them out and move the compartments with their paws or nose. my two love it.

| We play ball, tug of war, and sometimes playing ball with Kacee turns into tug of war when she doesn't want to give it back. Playing hide 'n seek is usually fun for yorkies. They are quite good at finding us! She is sometimes content to just lay on the the back of the couch watching the world go by, just as long as my arm is wrapped around her, so she can use it for a pillow. You can play with little pieces of kibble. Shoot them across a floor like marbles. Get a puppet (dog if you can find one) and play with your yorkie as if your puppet is just another yorkie. Put a few pieces of gravel or small stones in a plastic bottle and put the bottle in an old sock. She should have a great time with it.

She might enjoy digging more if there was something to dig for! They have tons of water toys to use in the pool but you can just as easily bury them in the snow and let her dig for those!
