Hi all

Thank you all for your responses. You'll be happy to know Max is with a foster family now. I did drop off some sweaters and toys for him and will continue to find people who can adopt him. I hope he gets his own family soon!

I'm really happy for Max if I didn't have 5 dogs already I would take him and even pay for his plane fare. I'm just happy he's in a foster home now and not in a shelter.

That's wonderful news! I'm so happy he is in a real home, even if it isn't a forever home. He looked so sad in that picture. It just breaks my heart. I hope he finds a nice, furever home very soon. He looks like such a good boy.

i saw his pic as well, what a cutie!!! i agree it kills me too to see them & not be able to help. thanks for getting the word out on max, i actually know some great people in Meuthen & will pass the word, you never know, just takes one person. I wil say a prayer for Max as well, am hopeful, he sounds great !!!!!!!! oh how i wish i had the space & money for many many more dogs just like max!!:):thumbup:

When I saw Max, I'd guess he was about 9 lbs, size med. length of back maybe 14" long. I'm gonna try to go there this week and see whats happening with him. I left there crying the first time I saw him, I don't know how I'll hold up again. If he don't respond to eating and is cold, he's not going to live very long. I pray for him to hang in there until someone can come and help him, thru rescue or a forever home. He'd make a wonderful pet. They are so appreciative to their owners to get adopted.

Presto, did you visit him today?

Yea, he's at a foster home and getting some TLC. Maybe the fosters will fail Fostering 101 like I have done:D.

It so great to hear Max is in a loving foster home. Hope he finds his Forever Home very very soon!
He is adorable & sounds like a sweetheart. I Love his coloring. Can't believe he is 8 yrs old. He looks like a puppy. Sending HUGS Max that you feel at home now.

Thats GREAT news, at least we all know he's warm and getting the attention he needs. Thanks so much for going there, I would have gone out sooner but the ice is real bad in my yard still.

I have my hands full, or should I say my lap, most of the time. I have 2 little almost 5 lb. yorkies senior sister girls now of which one is blind from PRA 13 yrs old and the other who is 11 yrs old had glaucoma in one eye and it had to be removed. They are both doing well for their limited site.

I'm feeling so happy that prayers were answered, Thank God ! Max is on his way to a new life. Thanks so much for that information.

I am so glad to hear that max is in a Foster home, where he will feel safer and not be scared.

I hope he finds a Forever home soon.

That is what I wish for all the Rescues in Foster Homes.
