You by chance didn't get your baby from Natalie's little Yorkie in South Dakota? A friend of mine bought a little boy from her and he had to be put down because of vertebrae in his neck missing, she replaced with a puppy . 2 days later that puppy was died, I hope your baby a speedy recovery, she will be in our thoughts |

She also breeds for Standard. I and a few others I know of all got healthy dogs from her... What was the cause of death of the second puppy? |

D.O.B. - 12/06/04 weight 3.8-lbs This little girl is just a love I am retiring her. She has been a wonderful mother to all her puppies and is ready for her forever home. She is AKC reg. It would be possible for her to have one more litter of puppies I just skipped her heat if breeding rights are wanted she is $1000.00 |
To the OP: How is your puppy doing today? |
I'm not sure if they offered her surgery, I don't think so or she would have tried, the second pup, my freind found her dead at about 2am the vets couldn't find a reason but I guess they did find a worm. |
very very sad my little yorkie I just pulled out of a situation like that the said she could have more puppies at 3.8lbs..that is insane to breed them that small. poor little Savannah had 2 puppies the first time...2nd time 5 and had to have a csection went into seizures....3 puppies died she's 4 years old and goes for her wellness check this wed. bloodwork etc and at the same time they will schedule her spay if all comes out ok...so please pray for her to be fine I'm a nervous wreck. It just breaks my heart and she's come along so well in a week learning how to live a life with people in a home instead of being crated etc and used for money making. I took a lot of slack for pulling her like I did but I'd do it again..one more litter or into the wrong hands this little dog would be dead she gave me full rights and akc papers everything...sad sad sad She has a lot of fear issues from some rough handling but she and I are healing together since I lost my yorkie after having her 11.5 year recently All she loves to do is cuddle but she's been exercising some of her vocals barking at my daughter and son and law and seeing her run near the door doing that made my heart feel light that she was moving forward. |
I am confused about the OP- the title of the thread says this puppy is dying- however only worms and hypoglycemia are stated as problems. Worms, while unpleasant and not a sign of a great breeder- are certainly not life threatening- every animal I have ever gotten from the humane society as come with them and been over them in a short time. As someone else said hypoglycemia can be caused by many things and may not be totally the breeders fault. If a puppy dies because of careless breeding, the buyer should get a refund. However, nothing indicates this puppy is dying. Also- any new puppy even from the best breeder should see a vet within 48 hours of arriving in their new home- did this puppy have a visit and what did the vet say about the health at that time? A lot can happen in five days. |

I'm not willing to argue this either but saddened to think there are members of YT that would intentionally purchase from someone that breeds teacups and uses a sire that is barely 1 lb as a foundation to their breeding program. |
