Princeton came to me on Pet tabs. I've also tried to add a joint supplement to his meals but he doesn't like it, so I will probably be trying others. Ricky gets a dab of Nutrical in the mornings and when he doesn't eat well, and that is supposed to have vitamins in it. I've thought about using Missing Link. Does anyone have any positive/negative thoughts on it?? |

A good food derived supplement can be a good idea for some dogs. Most commercial dog foods are lacking the natural enzymes the pet would get from non processed food so they tend to develop skin and coat issues along with other problems after the first couple of years. If your dogs are doing well on what you are giving them then keep it up. |
I also give the NuVet vitamins and think they are great. Mine think they are a treat. They love them. We have 3yorkies and a schnauzer that has a fatty tumor on her chest. They said to give her two vitamins a day and we would see a big difference. It has actually began to shrink. If these vitamins help and she doesn't have to have surgery it is well worth the money to me. |
Multi vitamins for my Yorkie Stallone is a 4 year old Yorkie who recently has went through some stomach issues and refuses to eat his prescription diet dog food. I am now making him a home cooked diet and are worried he isn't getting enough vitamins. His diet consists of chicken, green beans or peas and a small amount of rice. I alternate with pink salmon every few days or so. What type of multivitamin should I give him ? He is active but also likes to be lazy haha |
My little "terrors" eat really good dog food (Canidae), but per my vets recommendation they also take a glucosamine supplement to support those knees! |
Any vitamins or herbs y'all know of for occasional urinary incontinancy? I give Yoshi echinacea a little on top of her kibble about twice a week it helps boost the immune system:) |
