Ok, so I have talked myself into ordering a Kwigy Bo carrier from Ryan. I am trying to decide on the Alex or the Alexa. Also, for one furbaby do I want a large or small? I would love any input from anyone that has one of these!! You would think I was buying myself a new car! :p Well, I am buying one for my furbaby. Ha ha. Sort of!

I eventually want to buy one too! Really bad! Lol :) I want Remy to become full grown so I can decide on which size to get. Good luck in your decision!

I bought Sophie the Alex in gunmetal in a small. She is 4 lbs and her back length is about 11 inches. Just right plus she has extra room. I love it.

Rosie is about 5.5 pounds and her back length is about 12 inches. Do you think she would fit ok in the small?

I would think so, but I would email Ryan and ask him. He will know exactly which one you would need to buy. He is VERY helpful and is very quick in replying.

Armani is the same size and he fits perfect in the Small Alex- he doesnt have a ton of extra room but he just curls up in a ball anyway.

Yes she would. Kaji is 7 lbs and is 12 inches from base of neck to base of tail. He fits fine in his small Alex. Typically, he curls up in it, so there is a lot of room for him. He does do this thing when he doesn't want to go, he'll stretch out and make himself as big as he can so I'll think he doesn't fit any more. :rolleyes: Stinker!

Wow! I have Sugar (3#) in her KB and she makes me feel she is so cramped sometimes that I catch her hair in the zipper ;) I do love it tho.....just a few issues to work around :)

I took him to church with me once on a hot day. Being that it was so hot, and Kaji was in his BLACK Alex bag, I wanted him to be closer to the AC vent which is on the floor. When I reached down to check on, I couldn't feel him! I guess he was chilly and curled up into a tight little ball. He only took up less than 1/3 of the bag. When Kaji wants to be small, he can be really small!

LOL Sugar bites my toes through the mesh when we are flying! Her toe nails get trapped sometimes too :( But we are figuring out ways around that because we like the carrier. KB or seller was no help with this issue :(

haha! Chloe did the chewing through the mesh on our last flight too! :p

So most of you have the Alex? I am trying to decide to go with it or the Alexa. Nylon or the leather? I thought leather just because I thought it would last longer.

It's pleather, mine has taken a big beating from me and it's still going. I'm thinking of upgrading to the Alex Luxe. :)

I have both the Alex and Alexa in small, my boys are 3 and 4lbs and both have fit in one bag, not a lot of room to move around for two though, at 5.5 the small should work well for your little one :)

I would absolutely recommend the KB, we have the Alex bag, a big black one I think it's the biggest one they make, the one with 4 pouches on the sides, it's faux leather, looks soooo nice, very sturdy, we use it probably every day, so it gets lots of use. The handles and the base hold up well. the little side vents are really nice too. We have not flown anywhere yet but are looking to in the spring. And BTW Sprocket weights 10lbs and rats around in the bag quite a bit too :p, it has a small leash w/hook inside to help teach your baby to stay inside but I found that catching their hair ONE time in the zipper, works even better :eek: for staying down inside. When your thinking about the size of the bag remember to put a small blanket or Tshirt inside and maybe a chewie, they are calmer that way, of course I only have one dog in there too!! Just a thought. The bag is well worth the $$. I have forgotten do they come in white? Hmmmm maybe I need another color :D after all it's gonna be spring soon, right?????? No snow????

Thanks for the info! I didn't even think about the blanket inside. By the time I get a blanket, toy, chew, and Rosie in maybe I do need the large! :p

Good idea! I thought the pink Alex was cute but the site says not in until April. I think I will go with the black!!
