Please Meet my senior adoptee-Honey Rose 4 Attachment(s) We just adopted a senior yorkie 2 weeks ago from Seattle! She's 10 years old! I never really thought about adopting an older yorkie....but after meeting her I didn't have to think twice! She's been really shy, and withdrawn from my other 2 yorkies....But she bonded with me pretty quickly! She wouldn't play at all. She acted like she didn't even know what a toy was. However TODAY all that changed!! She's been running around the house, barking her little head off and playing tug of war with my girls!!! Every day with her is a joy!!! :D in the 3rd pic she's the one in the middle. Daizy is on her L Tulip is on her R |
She looks so tiny and precious! Looks like she got a wonderful home! Congratulations! :) |
Congrats on your new addition!! You have 3 beautiful girls! :) |

awww thanks Jen!!! Your so sweet! Yah she looks amazing for 10! She walked pretty stiff when we first got her...so I spoke to my Vet and he told me to give her lose dose aspirin twice a day..and its amazing how she's now running around..playing...acting like she's Daizy's age! :D Thanks everyone else for your nice comments!!! I'm doing my best to give her a good home! :D I'm very happy that she's finally interacting and PLAYING with my girls! She's a spitfire!:animal36 She even learned Daizy and Tulips ANNOYING habit of putting one paw on my chest....looking me in the eyes and patting my face with her Paw!!! Of all things to learn!! They do that when they want a treat..NOPE they aren't spoiled..not one bit!! |

I think you and Honey Rose look alike. She is beautiful as are you:) Wish more people were like you and get older dogs, 10 for a Yorkie is not even old. |
Honey is just beautiful. Im so glad you entered her in this ge. Now that she knows how to play with toys she can get her very own toys from her ge buddy. I think she fits in your family just perfectly! |
Honey is beautiful, she sounds like she found a wonderful forever home. I love it when the older Yorkies get adopted. |
Beautiful !! Your babies are all so precious , love the last picture . |
Congrats. Remember, 10 is the new 6. Our girl is almost 14 and still is going strong, real strong. Oh, and so Bossy! Best of luck and great of you to take her. |
What a beautiful girl (all of them). |
She's just precious. You have a great big, lovely heart. She needed a home and you've given her one of the best. That's so cute about her starting to play with your girls!:p |

What a sweetheart both you and her! She looks like she fit right in with your other 2 pretty girls. She will reward you tenfold. |
Thank you so much for adopting a senior. She looks wonderful. I have a senior Yorkie - Lil Bit, but we had her since she was a puppy. Beamer is the "baby", and now we are fostering Fritz - a senior. They give so much love and are still "trainable" I hope Honey Rose gets lots of wonderful goodies in the GE:) |

Oh gosh, I fell in love with her just from the pictures! She is darling. |
Honey is a little doll!! Thank you for adopting a senior! They are special babies who have given their unconditional love to others and deserve to get it back! :) |
All three of your girls are so pretty! I think it's great you adopted a "senior" dog. She still looks like a puppy, and I am guessing she probably still acts like one too! :) |
AWWWWW Honey Rose is just beautiful. Senior babies are the best. I have adopted 3, they are now at the bridge. But the love those babies have was just beyond my wildest dreams knowing what they had been thru. Thank you for adopting a senior, they have so much love. |
