What a roller coaster ride! Sending prayers of thanksgiving to Mike, Kelly and little Eddie, Rusty and Jillie. I cannot imagine the stress they must be going through. :hands: and :hug:

Mike's stuck at work but he thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers and support. He's embarrassed for making everyone worry.

Here's his update from FB:
As embarrassing as this is to say, Eddie has been found. As the cops were here listening to us frantically babble about how he was stolen, we heard a little bark. He'd somehow crawled behind the entertainment center and gotten stuck. He'd never gone there before, and for some reason didn't feel like barking earlier. Sorry for the chaos. But I'll take a little embarrassment rather than the alternative. Thanks

Reading after all the excitement. Wow, how scary was that! Mike so glad Eddie is ok. Dont be embarrased, Just shows how comassionate you are.

I'm so glad he was found - safe and sound. Don't be embarrassed. Things like that happen! I was in Kacee's fenced-in yard and turned around and didn't see her anywhere one day. I went into a panic. She was still in her fenced-in yard. She was just behind a clump of decorative grass.:o It was the most terrible feeling for awhile. They're so little that they can disappear behind everything! Happy days! Eddie's safe!:D

What an awful scare! I first saw it on facebook...then Patti called me and as we were talking, I saw where he'd been found! What a huge relief. Patti and I were so sick over Eddie missing, and once we knew he was present and accounted for, we could end our conversation on a happy note. Love you, sweet Eddie...you little stinker!

whooo hooo Eddie is found! yay. this made me almost have a heart attack and then cry because he was just silly and got stuck where he didn't belong.

Just last night I was running around in a panic because I couldn't find Max in our 20' x 40' living room. He was there one second and gone the next. I was looking behind and under all the furniture, checking behind all the doors, and yelling his name. Poor Teddy started shaking like a leaf and a few minutes later, there was Max standing behind me. :rolleyes:

It's awful. I was calling Kacee that day, too. She finally came out from behind that huge clump of grass and looked at me wondering what was wrong. She could hear the panic in my voice.:cool:

Just saw this & could not read through fast enough Hoping & Praying for a good outcome! I'm so Happy that Eddie is safe!
I know that we all understand the terror & hearts sinking when he couldn't be found. Pls Pls Pls don't be embarassed as all of us know the panic if we were in the same situation. It's because we all know & fully understand the Love for these little guys.

OMG So glad he's been found!!! WOOHOOO!!!!

We had a similiar incident with Daizy...had all our family come over..we were searching the woods around our home for miles well in the night when my niece heard a small bark coming out from under our sofa...apparently when my husband put down his foot rest...daizy was underneath snoozing!!! So embarrassing...but sooooooooooo Glad she was home safe and sound the WHOLE TIME!!! little turkey had never been so quiet in her life until THAT NIGHT!!!! :D

It's still a running joke in our house...if we can't find her.. "Where's Daizy...have you checked under the SOFA???":rolleyes: lol

I'd rather hear about a red face with a happy ending!

A couple weeks ago, Chewie disappeared out of my fenced yard, practically right under my nose! My folks and I scoured the neighborhood in the snow for about an hour (totally panicking, because it was freezing!). We were taking a quick breather in front of the house when he came traipsing out of the yard. Apparently, instead of getting out, he crawled under the deck and then under the house! (actually, that's happened twice--now we always go out on a leash, at least until the snow melts enough to barricade the deck)

Such a relief when they show up safe and sound!

My heart sank when I first read this...but with further reading I am soooo relieved to hear that Eddie is alright...I'm sure he added a few more gray hairs to Mike....Lil' Miss Izzie did that to me also...I couldn't find her anywhere, checked upstairs/downstairs...called my daughter in a panic and did go into a full panic attack...daughter came rushing over to try to calm me down...only to find out that she had gone into her crate and the door closed behind her...the whole time while I was running around calling for her and panicing....she just sat there watching me...without a peep...my daughter saw her in her crate and opened the door....I can't remember the last time I cryed sooooooo hard....It indeed added a few more gray hairs to me......Glad Eddie is alright !!!!!!!

I think I finally figured it out. He WAS stolen, and all your prayers and warm wishes snatched him back from the dognappers and hid him behind the entertainment center just to make me look like a fool!

I'm reading this while eating breakfast this morning and I have a huge lump in my throat. I couldn't read through the thread fast enough. Finally I get to the post that says Little Eddie is ok. Thank God!!!
These little boogers really get themselves into trouble, don't they? Behind the entertainment center!!! really Eddie??? You gave us all a little more gray hair today.
So glad everything is ok now. You get an extra hug from us today!!
