There are other considerations also. With sevo they can wake up a bit quicker and I have heard it is better for the heart. With iso there is less risk of the temp dropping too low and seems to be preferred at UT for liver shunt repair. So there are goods and bads to both. | Thanks again. I just clicked the link for the friend's of animals low cost spay neuter program and found a vet hospital in Toms River that is suppose to be very good and they participate. $90 for the spay. I'm going to call them tomorrow, plus I clicked a link and got a free first visit which is good because I can see if I like the vet first. I have used my vet hospital for 15 years and love them, but they are expensive and I had an issue with them this time around with Mia.
Mia was very sick when we got her and the first exam she was diagnosed with upper respiratory and ear infections and he gave her not one but two shots (Distemper and Rabies). She was a few days short of 16 weeks old and only weighed about a pound and a half. As much as I know shots should not be given when a dog is sick, I was just so overwhelmed with just picking her up and finding she was so sick that it didn't click until after the shots were given. It was not our usual vet but still and I was also upset because she had a hernia and they did not do a thourough exam on her so they did not find it so I want to try and find another vet. Sometimes change is good.
Thanks again
