These are professional organizations. Not just some breeder. If your going to put yourself out there as an organization that can be believed and trusted, then you had better tell the truth. todays consumers have thend WWW at their finger tips, and if you lie, they are going to find out.

So don't be pissed at me just because I pointed out inaccuracies on their website. Go jump on them for feeding you a line of BS.

Why Not the YTCA lies.

I believe if you search here on YT, there is actual correspondence and discussion regarding the MARS testing of the Biewer Terriers, not the Biewers, and the conclusions that the testing by Mars was flawed.

Anyone can start a club and put anything they want on their website. that does not make it true.

Where is the documentation? Not a study paid for by the organization. Real unbiased documentation.

Since you keep making this same comment over and over I really think that you need to back of your accusations. I'd like to she some hard facts and names of the members of the YTCA that are making these lies that you keep alluding to in your many posts. Otherwise you need to stop before you get yourself into an area of legality that you might not want to venture without proof.

I do not know who made it up or who posted it, but there is documentation that says the parti color occurs in the yorkshire terrier, yet the YTCA has it right on their site that it does not.

They can DQ it, that is their right, it's their club, their rules. But why do they need to put on there that the yorkshire terrier does not have a white gene in it's make up when it has been proven otherwise. It just hurts their credibility.

If you want to have credibility then don't post things on your site that can be proven false.

Oh and I am not affraid of the YTCA. The documentation is out there to prove that the statement is false.. Besides they can have everything I've got if they want it.

Maybe the parti breeders should sue them for their falsestatements. Claiming that it has caused us monetary damage.

Actually Jeanie I think that is an excellent idea :) I have never seen the point in all of the bickering and name calling that goes on regarding this issue. If you and the other parti breeders have proof of what you claim then I say put up or shut up. If you do a search of this forum almost every since thread that has ever discussed this issue ends in being locked as the tone gets nastier and nastier. Up until recently I never even paid much attention to all for this banter. But after thread after thread of arguing and accusations I really think it's time to make a stand and prove your point. :thumbup: But just to repeatedly state the same things over and over seems to me to be a fruitless effort on the part of an entire community of Parti breeders. When you argue your point you really are arguing to the wrong audience on the Yorkietalk forum. Make a proactive appeal to the correct audience (YTCA) after all they are the deciding factor. :) A select group constantly attacking the same issue and members repeatedly in truth it really is not falling on the ears that need the argument. Just sayin...............:)

I'm assuming that the breeding research is just like medical research it takes many, many studies and A LOT of proof to change the overruling body's judgment on the topic. The YTCA has ruled as it has and it is now time and research's job to change that ruling if it needs to be changed.

Again, the YTCA is not LYING they have different studies or facts or whatever that they are basing their information on. Saying they are lying does no good. Continuing to do studies and NEW research is what will change their decision. Apparently, what is already in existence is not adequate. There are two sides to this coin and only more research is going to resolve the issue, not name calling and accusations.

If you really feel that passionate about it, join the committee that is petitioning the YTCA and stop calling them liars every chance you get.

Of course, this is all my opinion.

Also, if you hate the YTCA so much and think they are so terrible, why do you care if they acknowledge the parti at all? It isn't like they can tell anyone to stop breeding. They obviously aren't hurting the market THAT badly because it seems like there is a pretty decent demand for these pups. If the issue is not being able to compete in conformation, parti breeders could have their own expert panel/organization and put shows together if they'd like, unless there are rules against that?

Exactly! Why is it that there is such hatred spewed over and over? I just don't get it at all :confused: This hatred is not just toward the YTCA but every chance there to make a dig one is made~why.? Wouldn't it just be more wise and less tiring to quietly do what you claim to be right instead of calling other liars? Making accusations that you really cannot back up with any hard evidence while trying to convince everyone that you are correct in your thoughts. At some point (like now) don't you think that all of this banter and hostile activity is self defeating to your cause? You have a breed club who why not just band together and make your own rules and whatnot regarding what you have researched and proven.

That's what this comes down to. Though I fail to see how you can claim it's costing you money. Seems to me that many Parti's are going for a premium under the guise of being rare.

So you are saying that your profit margin is being impacted by not being a member of the YTCA and that would be the basis of your legal grounds of said lawsuit? :confused:

Not if you are a Parti Breeder perserving the integrety of the breed.

I don't HATE the YTCA. I dislike any organizatilon that uses their clout to mislead people. They are a club, they have their rules. I do not want to join their club, so they mean nothing to me. But there are people on here that recite the YTCA website like it is the gospel.

The YTCA knows very well that what they have on their site is wrong. The leading authority of the Yorkshire Terrier in the US is or was a member. she has written a letter that states that she had a white puppy show up in one of her litters. That is a fact, not my opinion, not her opinion, a fact.

So I post to those who think that the YTCA knows all. They have misinformation printed on their site, because they know that most people think they are authorities. when in reality they are just a club that for whatever reason, must feel threatened by the parti colored breeders or they would not need to discolurage people from breeding them by posting false information about them.

if they want to DQ them, that is their right, but don't try to tell the rest of us that our dogs are not yorkies.

I would not join the YTCA even if they did decide to accept the parti color. I'm not a club joiner. Too many rules. I like to walk outside of the box, and do my own thing.

If the YTCA would suddenly by some miracle, drop that mis information from their site. it would end all of these discussions, because they only inflormatioln that the parti non parti people have, is that tiny sentence on the YTCA site, while the parti people have pages of documentation to back their claims.

The problem that the YTCA has, is that you cannot prove a negative. So all they have is their say so.

Ok....I have a Biewer(Parti) and I have a Yorkshire Terrier...My Vet draws a blood sample...sends it to a Genetist...they results come back the same...Right?

Well, since I'm not a breeder, I can only say what has been MY observation. As for those who breed to standard, you'll have to ask them.

Parti's are not bred to standard. I am sure they are wonderful and terrific little dogs, just not able to be shown. I have no problem with that as I am not a shower. I love all dogs, purebred and Mutt.
