I don't understand why Zach has such wild hair. I've tried every kind of shampoon and condtioner. I brush him every day. He's a silky but he always has a bad hair day. He looks like the cannine version of Phyllis Diller. I don't know if bathing more often will help but I really don't want to do that because it's kind of cold now. I was going to have him groomed but I really don't want his hair cut because he loves going out and I don't want him chilled. Anybody have any ideas?

OMG, I think his wild hair is ADORABLE!!! He pulls it off, just like some people look better with a little disheveled look! I have a 4 month old and I love how her hair is all wild and slightly kinked right now...I was just telling my bf how I'm going to miss her looking like a little furball!

Zack looks like he has a nice silky coat. Once it gets longer it will lay down better. Nikki has a similar coat an at 16 his coat still shines. He is in full coat and it lays down very nicely. I use just a little conditioner on him otherwise he gets stringy looking.
