| yorkman72 | 01-05-2011 07:14 PM | Mean Female I have 3 Yorkies 1. Female mother of 2. 6 month old male and 3. 6 year old male who is the father of the puppy. The female is always mean to the older male always grawling at him and snipping not really biteing I dont think. Its really sad cause he is so sweet and big. He is like a little tank and she is idk maybe 7,8 pounds, and he never grawls back or snips or bites her back when she does that to him. Also he has seizures due to a vet giving him to much anesthetic and when he has a seizure she really attacks him. I have to pick him up to keep her from hurting him. I know during the seizures he looks aggressive cause he is showing his teeth and shaking im sure she thinks she is protecting me. most of the time everything is ok they can eat out of the same bowl be around each other but he looks like he is walking on nails around her and at night, if she gets on the bed first she looks down on him just waiting for him to jump on the bed so she can bite him in the face. and as always he looks at me and whines. im glad he dont but if he want to he could really hurt her but he takes the high road..lol. so my question is why does she act this way and what can I do to stop her from doing it. By the way she has no problem with the 6 month old male they play non stop. Im guessing cause its her puppy? We use to have a female Chihuahua she had no to little problem with her??? |
