Speachless and can only say "OMG" I ran across this ad and have to say I am at a loss for words.:eek: Tiny doll face yorkshire terrier puppy for adoption 11 weeks | San Francisco | eBay Classifieds (Kijiji) | 8133780 I don't understand why people insist on producing such tiny delicate puppies!:thumbdown I am totally speechless ...... |
:thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown omg , that is wrong :mad::mad::mad: |
Is that supposed to be a real puppy? It looks like one of those "Chinese stuffed animals" made (what are they called there's a kitch name for them) they are like saw dust filled and covered in real animal skins (hair) they're creepy...note the super deep indentation on the back of this dog in the second pic...looks like the saw dust ones after you grab it too tight...oh I hope it's not real...looks like a pug faced Yorkie and really sickly...oh how I hope it's a one of those sick animal skin covered dolls and not a real dog... http://bayarea.ebayclassifieds.com/d...ld/?ad=7804481 Almost scarier AKC registered huh? 8 weeks ready to go tout the door! |

Oh that is just so darn sad! The poor little thing doesn't look quite right. :( |
[Sarcasm] Let's hear it for people who breed off standard dogs! After all, color, face shape and size are really just preferences. Right? Standards are just set by a bunch of stodgy old busy bodies who have nothing better to do than stick their noses in to other peoples breeding practices. As for price, who cares what anyone else charges. I bet they are just jellus that they can't get that much for their dogs. [/End Sarcasm] Heavy sigh. |
I love it!! I feel like putting my head up in the air an howling like your little dogs in the picture!!!:D I think the puppy looked adorable! Who wouldn't want that little cutie pie?! As for $$ , so what!?! I paid a good price for mine also, not quite that much but probably too much but I'm not upset that I did. It said she will probably be 3-4lbs. What's so tiny about that? That is a nice size dog. Get over it everyone....there are MANY tinies out there, they are fine. You just have to have a home that is quiet and safe not with wild children and big dogs. If you want a BIG yorkie have one but don't knock all of us that like a small one!:aimeeyork:D:D |
I dont see where she mentioned partis exclusively just breeding off standard yorkies in entirely. There are alot of reasons why a yorkie could be off standard and there are many people on here that agree with her that a breeder should be breeding as close to the standard as possible |
1 Attachment(s) There's a difference between a normal yorkie that has thrown a tiny and breeding purposely for them. Did you see how brachocephalic the dog is in the second picture? It's abusive. It really is pathetic that people will continue to support greeders. |
Lol, your post made me feels better. I've got to say, at least in the time that I've been on YT, I've seen a big change in the average Yorkietalk reader. When I came here, people were bragging about how tiny their "teacups" were, and slowly but surely that attitude changed. Not saying there is anything wrong with loving a tiny, they are adorable, but seeking out breeders who breed for them is NOT good for the breed. I also want to point out that just because a dog is tiny at 11 weeks, this doesn't mean it will be tiny at 1 year, the runt of the litter often turns out to be the largest. |

LOL- my claws only come out when people support the unethical. |
Ok I looked at that picture really good, and I do believe that is a stuffed Yorkie. I am almost 99% sure it is, as I have a stuffed one that looks almost just like.Also look at that back leg. I say this person is out to scam people. So, sad. |

though no responsible breeder breeds for this trait. Many breeders prefer a general weight range of 4-7 pounds believing that size retains desired Toy qualities while maintaining optimum health. The Yorkie Standard states weight "must not exceed seven pounds" and as a prospective pet owner you should realize that even at 7 pounds, the Yorkie is still a small dog. So why would you endorse such a practice? |
