| Question about 2nd puppy Hi Everyone! After months of careful consideration and weighing all the pros/cons we could think of, our family decided to get Magnus a playmate/sister Mabel! She's 8 weeks old. I've actually visited the family's home I got her from and they seem to be a very loving family that loves their yorkies very much. Now for my question. Magnus haven't been aggressive or shown any negative signs with the Mabel so far. Or at least none that I notice. I'm not sure if this would be considered "normal" per say but he's been licking/grooming her a lot. And I mean A LOT! I've done some google searches but haven't really found any info. I don't think I've ever read/seen anything on how licking another dog is a bad thing. Has anyone gone through this before? I just want to make sure it's not anything bad. If it is, I want to try and correct it asap. |

| hi and congrats on your new baby, when i first got a second baby my bailie ignored her for a while , i never MADE them be friends i just let nature take its course and they bonded really well, then i added a third and my wee female licked and licked the 3rd baby, they are inseperable, then a 4th lol and now they all great together, to me its a good thing he is cleaning her, and its amazing how one learns from the other

| As long as they are not fighting - you are doing well. I'm not sure what the grooming means; though my dogs groom each other from time to time.
