Rhia has 2 beds at my apartment. One is next to my computer desk and the other is in the corner of my bedroom. She also has one at my parents house for when she stays there. :) |
1 Attachment(s) Speaking of beds, do you think there would be a market for this type of bed? My husband built this for Speedy & Toby and I know it would hold at least 4-5 yorkies! Would you consider buying a bed like this? I don't have a nice fluffy pillow for it yet so I just put a soft blanket in it and they love this bed. |
oh my... my guys have blankets and quilts but no beds!! They sleep with us... and I have to cover my pillow when I get up so they don't lay on my pillow!!! |
Ok, this thread is making me feel a lot better! lol I thought I was really bad because Heidi has 5 dog beds, plus she sleeps in my bed. At least now I know I'm not the only one that does that! (Truth be told, I can't hardly go into a store without looking at dog beds & collars.) All those beds, and at night when I get up and come back she will be laying in the middle of my pillow like she's laughing saying, "Ha ha, I got your spot!" Of course, I make her move. :) |

Tibbe has 2 beds(one dog bed and one carrier with the door always open) but he rarely uses them except for when he is playing with a toy, chewing on a chewie or expressing his displeasure with me. Otherwise, he lounges where I lounge, naps where I nap and sleeps where I sleep. |

My little yorkie has 5 beds to herself. We also have a 12 year old large black lab, and Ziggy (my yorkie) seems to think that the lab's beds are also her own. The lab has 4 and Ziggy will lay right in the middle of the jumbo bed, and the lab is forced to sleep on the carpet. She also sleeps in two of my beds. Therefore, that is a total of 11 beds for one little 3 lb. dog! |

Macy has 6 beds and countless blanketies. One in the crate, one in my office, one in the living room, and three we keep rotating when she's at home in her "area" and makes messes. All these beds for her and I find out she likes either the hard bottom legs of my office chair or my pillow. But overall, she's either in the donut pillow or laid out on the carpet :P |
Kelsey and Kami share 3 beds. and they each have their own crates. and kami will sleep on pillows on the floor. |
I started out and still buy three beds at a time one for each dog I have three dogs...but they all share now....one in living room, one in my room, one in daughter's room. Well...I should really have a video Scoobers will drag his favorite bed and pull it with another dog on it until they get off he doesn't like to share that specific one. We have 10 beds here now that's 3 per dog + one in the boy's room, they rotate on it's it can fit all three of them with room to spare though 3'x4', two beds were recently decommissioned due to Princess Monster and Scoobers tug of war and we have 3 dog blankets one per dog that are "bed" on furniture. Looking at making a dog bed from a thread here out of a table and have two more frames needing cushions so we'll have 13 soon... |
Teegy has one under the bathroom sink for hanging out while I'm getting ready in the morning, one in the hall for watching me in the kitchen, he has his own rug and play area where his carrier is left open and he has a pillow on my chaise where he sleeps when I'm at work. He has one in the bedroom and he sleeps with me. I just had to make him comfy.... |

Okay I'll try to remember it never fails when something I always mean to video happens I'm there watching and then after I'm like darn it! Missed it again! It is pretty cute though he actually digs at his bed too and pulls it that way bunching it up and scooting it away all over the living room! Quote:

between my two dogs they have 2 pet taxis, 2 crates (in the mail on the way) one soft tent xpen, 1 metal x-pen, our bed, the couches (2), and about 10 beds or more. |
