Sophie seems a little curious. She sat in my lap while I was holding him for a little bit last night. She reminds me of Lady from Lady and the Tramp, after the baby came home. :) |
One of my rescues (a collie/a few years back) was deaf and he was great with hand signals. I also taught him to come to me when I stomped on the floor if he was not in sight. The porch light flashing on and off was his signal to come in from the back yard at night - I waved to him during the day and he would come if he was looking at me. |
This member is deaf and she taught her puppy hand signals, so I thought you may want to read this thread.:) http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/tra...-language.html |
Congrats! he is a doll, she will come around in no time. When i first got valentine Keno hated her and was scared with she even came near him, he was like that for about a week and now hes used to her. He doen't mind when she comes to lay by him. |
When my senior dog went deaf...I joined a Yahoo group for people with deaf dogs...they have a lot of great advice and tricks to teach them....and they are a nice group... (which is always a plus) |
Thanks again for all the tips! I can't wait till Sophie likes him. Peyton had his vet visit yesterday...Dr. Said he was a healthy pup. :animal36 |
He is adorable. Congrats! |
