| Ok, Guru... I have 6 yorkies.....I'm pretty sure at least 3 are poop eaters. They range in weight from 3 lbs to 15 lbs. I wouldn't think I would give them all the same amount? I would love some 1 on 1 advice.

| I started my regiment today. Boy oh Boy Harley LOVES that Pineapple!!!! it took him a few seconds to chomp on the first piece... then the second he pretty much swallowed whole, he just LOVED IT!. So we just found a new treat. Also I got thinking... for treats for him I've been soaking his kibble in chicken broth to soften it up for like 10 seconds so I can break it and he likes it that way for treats. I was thinking I could start soaking his kibble in that pineapple juice instead and he'd have less sodium Does that sound like a good idea?

as for the juice I just meant instead of throwing away the stuff in the can, using that to soak the kibble.

| It's been a couple of days since you started with the pineapple. Have you noticed any change in the interest in the poop. Usually the first sign of it beginning to work is that you will notice they pick up the poop and then drop it. Maybe they will paw at it but will not actually eat it. Sometimes they will pick it up and carry it to another spot in the house or yard.

| Wow, I didn't realize poop eating was so common. I now feel lucky because neither of mine have ever eaten poop

| Sammy was a poop eater too. I tried plain yogurt, which he loved, but that didn't do anything to help. He probably thought, Mmmmm yogurt flavored poop! Anyway, he hasn't done it in awhile, so I'm guessing that maybe they outgrow that lovely habit! |

| Is she still eating poop? Did you try pumpkin, spinach or any of the other foods that are suppose to help? How much pineapple were you feeding her?

| Yes, megansmomma. She still eating poop and throwing up sometimes after eating poop. No, I did not yet try pumpkin or spinach. I think I should try them, too. I gave 3 or 4 pieces of frozen pineapple chunks after defrosting them. My daughter-in-law told me yesterday that her 'Vet doctor-to-be' friend told her to try with hot red pepper flakes. I am afraid it might hurt my baby girl's body inside. |
