Anyone have christmas photos?? Hello, We want to get a picture of Bentley taken for a christmas card but we're not quite sure where to start. I have some basic photography skills and was thinking of just taking some myself (I got some really cute ones with pumpkins.. nerd i know :) )Does anyone have any pictures they used in a christmas card or around the holidays of their yorkies?? Any suggestions of what kind of backdrop you used, etc, etc I would really appreciate. He's our furbaby and the family wants to see him! :) thanks!! |

I took a picture of Bella last year in front of our tree with her Christmas dress on. I am going to use it in a couple of Christmas cards. I would post the picture but I'm not sure how. LOL |

All it takes is a Christmas tree, a cute yorkie dressed in a Christmas outfit, and lots of red! Place yorkie along with a cute Christmas stuffed animal and you have it!:D Did you see this pic: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...roup-shot.html |

4 Attachment(s) Bentley is sooo freakin' adorable. He looks so soft and fluffy in your avatar! I took a few pics myself of Jackson last year... just used our fireplace as the 'backdrop' I guess you'd call it, lol! Oh and the last one we went to Petco, it was a free one, so it kind of sucked and Jackson was miserable, lol. PS, his hair was a mess in these! |

he is so stinkin adorable!! I love how nice his hair looks -- Bentley is in the middle of changing colors and getting rid of puppy hair so hes a mess! I"ll post one of his halloween pics later tonight :) thanks for sharing! |

2 Attachment(s) Here's a couple we took of our foster last year in mid-December! We posted it on her adoption page and she found her forever home on January 1 this year. |

I just LOVE all the pictures of the babies... Not going to lie, last year when my house was filled with all of the Yorkies cards/pictures from everyone... it made my season. I didn't want to take them down! I got so many compliments and I had several guests look through each card (all on display throughout the main parts of our home) because of all of the adorableness in them! |

I plan on taking Piper to the PetCo here to have hers done. It's the first weekend in December. I hear great things about Picture People. |

I love all the pictures and cannot wait for the Christmas card exchange. My dogs dogs move away from one another when I try to set them together to get a shot of both of them so it gets difficult. I did manage to get a pretty good shot of both of them together a few days ago, so I will just use Picnik Photo Editer to make it more Christmas like. Not nearly as cute as many others but it will do. |

1 Attachment(s) Maybe put them in a basket or a decorated christmas box so they can't get away from each other. I have 4 and it's a little tricky. My oldest (3) is Coco and he gets bored waiting for the others to get settled so he tries to lay down. Here is ours from last year. Little Wally kept wandering away!!! A Christmas basket did the trick!! |

When I brought Harley home I propped him up on a foot stool that was covered in a red blanket and laid on the floor, and shot upward to get him and the tree in the background. he moved but with a trained yorkie you could get them to stay. I'm looking forward to christmas photos this year. |

1 Attachment(s) I've posted this one a bunch of times. My friends did it when they kept Sadie for a weekend around Christmas. It's my favorite picture of her. Now I need one with Beemer in it too. |

Oh my! These make me so excited for the Card Exchange.... I am going to try to get my two to stay still long enough to take one of them. I am going this weekend to get their Christmas outfits! I am so excited! All these pics are so beautiful! Ya'll have such beautiful furbabies! |

All time favorite of my pictures 1 Attachment(s) Here is my all time favorite of Christmas pics of my personal dogs. That isn't to say that I haven't seen other pics that I like better, but this one steals my heart. I called this one "Waiting for Santa". I took the pic of PrissyBelle and Beauregard on red dupioni silk and then used PrintShop Pro and Photo Shop to edit it and add the snowflakes. |

I would love to know how you all get your babies to sit still for these pictures! I want to do a Christmas picture of Roxie this year and I just don't know how to get her to "pose". |

Treats, treats, and more treats! For our Halloween pictures I probably took 200 pictures. That's the beauty of digital!! Another thing that's really helped me - I got a wireless remote shutter for my camera. I can set it on a tripod and be near the kids as I take the pictures - giving out the treats of course! Oh - and a squeeky toy to get more than one to look at you at the same time. |

3 Attachment(s) These are some of the pictures we took last year at the Americana (a shopping center in LA). You might want to try going to a shopping center that is already decorated. You get a lot of choices of places to take pictures there. |
