Anyone have christmas photos??
 
Hello, We want to get a picture of Bentley taken for a christmas card but we're not quite sure where to start. I have some basic photography skills and was thinking of just taking some myself (I got some really cute ones with pumpkins.. nerd i know :) )Does anyone have any pictures they used in a christmas card or around the holidays of their yorkies?? Any suggestions of what kind of backdrop you used, etc, etc I would really appreciate. He's our furbaby and the family wants to see him! :) thanks!!

I took a picture of Bella last year in front of our tree with her Christmas dress on. I am going to use it in a couple of Christmas cards. I would post the picture but I'm not sure how. LOL

yea I was thinking of getting the tree up early just to get his picture in front of it! Glad to hear it turned out cute from home :)

All it takes is a Christmas tree, a cute yorkie dressed in a Christmas outfit, and lots of red! Place yorkie along with a cute Christmas stuffed animal and you have it!:D

omg those are sooo adorable!! THere is a santa coming close to us to take pet pics and we are definitely going! aw :)

omggg that is so adorable!! It makes me want more yorkies even more :)) I think I'll experiment at home first with photos these are so adorable! Im trying to teach him to sit like that for picutres but he's resisting.. lol

Bentley is sooo freakin' adorable. He looks so soft and fluffy in your avatar!

I took a few pics myself of Jackson last year... just used our fireplace as the 'backdrop' I guess you'd call it, lol! Oh and the last one we went to Petco, it was a free one, so it kind of sucked and Jackson was miserable, lol.

PS, his hair was a mess in these!

he is so stinkin adorable!! I love how nice his hair looks -- Bentley is in the middle of changing colors and getting rid of puppy hair so hes a mess! I"ll post one of his halloween pics later tonight :) thanks for sharing!

Here's a couple we took of our foster last year in mid-December! We posted it on her adoption page and she found her forever home on January 1 this year.

I just LOVE all the pictures of the babies... Not going to lie, last year when my house was filled with all of the Yorkies cards/pictures from everyone... it made my season. I didn't want to take them down! I got so many compliments and I had several guests look through each card (all on display throughout the main parts of our home) because of all of the adorableness in them!

Brittany -- your hearth & fireplace looks a lot like mine. Is your whole wall stone? Mine is and I have a time of it with that wall! I love your potted Christmas ornament trees! Shows up a LOT better than the pine needle trees I use in almost the same way. And of course Jackson looks amazing as always. He does not look his usual happy self though in the one with Santa, but still looks good! There is going to be a pet photographer at one of the local grooming shops at the end of this month. I am thinking of taking my crew down there. Just not sure if I could get all three to cooperate. Guess I better follow your example and do some trial runs at home. It would be easier to do the 2 yorkies as they are better with strangers than Candy (our Jack Russell). But I couldn't send out a card leaving her out. She is part of the family. :) I even thought about trying to photoshop her in! LOL! But I think if it does not work with the photographer, I should be able to get something usable at home.

I plan on taking Piper to the PetCo here to have hers done. It's the first weekend in December. I hear great things about Picture People.

I love all the pictures and cannot wait for the Christmas card exchange. My dogs dogs move away from one another when I try to set them together to get a shot of both of them so it gets difficult. I did manage to get a pretty good shot of both of them together a few days ago, so I will just use Picnik Photo Editer to make it more Christmas like. Not nearly as cute as many others but it will do.
