Mine will actually wait their turn. We always hand out treats in order of age. Age before beauty...since Maddie, our only girl, is the youngest) I always say! They know when it is their turn and will wait patiently and then step forward when it is their turn. Also, even though their crates are identical, if when cleaning I put them in the wrong place, they will still only go in theirs. The only difference is the name on top for when we have been on trips but they of course can not see that!!! Monkey will also not go outside everytime. He will walk to the door if I absolutely insist but will absolutely not cross over if he doesn't have to go potty. They also know when the girls are coming home. They tend to wake up from their naps, 10 minutes or so before the girls ar edropped off and they will migrate to the front window where they can look out and wait WAY before I know before they can hear the bus coming!!! Since I finally got her ears to stand up... when she takes off running at full-tilt, Tab battens down her ears behind her as she zips around. Makes her look streamlined. :) ... and kinda like a bat at the same time. |
when I stand at the door to put on his harness in the morning Teegy always does a lap around me first before stopping at my feet. In the morning if I don't respond to his little wake up mummy wimpers, he goes behind my pillow and pounces with his front paws on my head. If I'm lying asleep on my side he will walk on me from my feet to my shoulder and then cover my face in kisses. Teegy loves to come and get blow dried while I am doing my hair and jumps up on the bed and watches me while I finish. |
