When we go to agility, there is a Chiwawa (sp) that he has no issues with and they smell each other. That other dog go bazerk when he sees Maxwell. He really likes him. My dog is buddies with a Lab/Husky in the neighborhood and has no issues with him. |
the only behavior problems my puddles has is that she listens to everyone except me. But I am the one who has to take her out to potty and the one she follows every place. If I leave for a while she flips out when I come home & bites my ankles. But I love her to death. She has filled my empty nest syndrome. She's like my 3rd child. |
My dad hadn't had a dog in years and just got a Great Pryneses 12 week old puppy. The puppy is huge lol and my dad came over to give his pup a play date with my chipper(yorkie) and Wriggley(Schnoodle). well the great pryneses loved the dogs and was comfrotable with them but was scared of me and my dad. The pup was really friendly but just scared. so I sat in the floor with my dads dog and didn't bother her just tried to get her used to me being close to her. well eventully I got her to take a treat from my hand and she was eating a few pieces when Chipper came over and just took one of her treats and sat in my lap and laid it down. didn't even eat it. Well when the pyrneses came over to get her treat back chipper snipped at her!! She was nice enough to let him take her treat and when she was going to eat his left over he was mean. She just sat back down and looked at Chipper like "ok you butthead, you can have it" and five minutes later chipper and the pup were playing and he was licking her face.. What a temper tantrum.. He forgets that he could have gobbled him up in one bite lol |
I'm having issues with my 2-yr-old Yorkie. She's a rescue from a breeder and has been with me since September. When we go out for her walks, she is a perfect lady on her leash until she sees someone or somedog, and she flips out. She lunges to the end of her leash, barks and goes into attack mode. I have to make her sit, which sometimes is impossible, and i have to hold her rear down in the sit position. When she gets to the point she will sit on her own, i made her stay until she stops. Not exactly the way I wanted her to learn to sit. With the early dark evenings, this last week has been terrible and she's done this even with no one around and the other night she ripped the lead right out of my hand and took off after,,,, nothing. We go for walks at least 2 times a day and they're only calm if we don't come across anyone. Pulling my hair out over here !! |
Fido has one  When I'm eating, he just wants what I have, he once bit me when he didnt get ''his'' food, but not hard, but anyways he bit me (it didnt bleed or anything he just bit around my finger), he was so ashamed that he never did it again. But still he cry's and barks sometimes when i have food, i always have to have him in a leash inside when its dinner time. He only does this at dinner, when everyone sits at the table and eat, maybe he doesnt want to be the only one with no food  Now its just a rule that he has to be in his bed when we eat, he's began to be better in this, but now he's started to bark again at me when i eat cause my mom always gives him food from the table! arghh i get so mad at her when she gives him people food at the table, cause when she does that all the work ive put into this proplome dissapears  He starts barking at me again then  He's a perfect dog, beside's this proplome! (sorry if i say some words wrong) |
He also barks at other dogs, until he meets them , then he lays down like he's saying ''i'm so sorry!''. No matter what i do he always does this again, and he barks so much when he's playing with other dogs, it can be really anoying  Beside's these two issues, he's perfect! |
My "little boy" Connor, who will be 8 months old on the 22nd has a problem with other dogs. Big bro Neo is able to handle him for the most part, but when we walk them Connor barks and carries on so much, we're leery of letting there be contact between him and other dogs. This happens only when we have him on a leash, not at the dog park. We know he needs more socialization, but we're going to get him neutered, hopefully in the next week. I'm hoping this will cut down on his "maleness" and all that goes with it, lol!! |
