The mill is located in Burleson Texas, The site of the owner (Cheryl Lantz) is found here... www.lionhounds.org a 20 year veteran of flying under the radar... I wish I could figure out how to load these pics... I have tons!!! Thank you for your help!! Anything else will be greatly appreciated!!!

tkking17... I don't know if you could ever know how much I appreciate this... I know there is a slim chance that I could ever get help from them but it is more than I have gotten from places like the AKC and the UKC... thank you very much! This whole thing has made me want to become a lawyer just to respresent animals! thanks again!!

This breeder is no longer breeding one of her dogs because of lionhounds not informing them that the sire had had seizures his whole life

Posting on here - the name of the kennel, as well as the owner's name is a great start. People who tend to do some research will google her or the kennel's name and if enough horrible things are found, maybe that person will look elsewhere. There's also a complaints board you can put in a complaint, as well as the BBB. Anything is better than nothing.

Exactly! She was able to harrass the website host till they finally caved in and removed the site... It WILL be back up and you will find SERIOUS issues with dogs from "Powell" I personally held him through seziures... this is no joke... when the site comes back active, you really need to know all that has been done to hide the facts. I commend you for the research and if I could figure out how to load these photos, you would be floored. I don't know if you can actually understand the impact that she has on the Ridgeback world... most dogs came from her and not all of them are bad but within the last few years she has not been worthy of owning a dog more or less a breeder. This is why I am so addiment about getting her stopped... she is producing MASS amounts of puppies!! She doesn't deserve to know the love of a dog. I personally have a soft spot for puppies and cant believe it would be ok with anyone to continue to do this... this is why I am asking for help... Thanks again!!

I am very familiar with puppy mill dogs! I did dachsie rescue for 10 years, rescued from puppy mills! I now foster Yorkies.
Just had two from a puppy mill seizure - their albums are on my profile page (Reno and Clover), because of taking a vacation they went back to the rescue group today but I will be getting them back (unless they have been adopted) when I get back. And when they are adopted I will foster another one.

On the research - I love researching stuff (are you still with the Waco Eagles Motorcycle Club?;))

I was at one time... The drive was a bit much for me from Fort Worth (Burleson) to Waco... made my practice a little difficult. I race motocross and yes, I was a member once. I love the fact that you take the time to research!! You have become one of my favorites! My fionce's site is boondocksrr.com we are shutting down the site and will probably start up again once the court hearing is over... we do have great dogs... some better than others.. LOL... just kidding. they all have personallities and some like to see how far they can run. We have tried to do it the right way and the responce from the people that have dogs of ours, have brought on so many people our way that we have a "waiting list" for new homes... they may have to wait quite some time... this whole co-owner thing has kinda soiled the whole experience. Thank you... it means more than you know... keep up the research and thank you for the directions for uploading photos... I will have to do that tomorrow as it is getting late and I have been on here all day... thank you and to everyone that has helped.

Oh.. the picture of the dog in my profile is Diva... she has attached herself to me. She was not socialized properly and it was a challenge to get her to her championship... she is an awesome dog... just scared of people... my Diva Glamorous.... I could never send her back there!

Are you in Florida now (that is where your profile location is) or are you in Texas? (Obviously you are not in Williamsport,PA now;))

I have, of course, heard of Rhodesian Ridgeback, but never seen one.

I don't have any advice, but just wanted to wish you good luck! You are doing a very admirable thing in trying to rescue these dogs. I hope the puppy mill gets shut down!

We are now in FL, a long way away from our co-owner... Yeah she was put in the backyard at the "mill" and was left to fend for herself... she got beat up from time to time and I associate that to her stand-off attitude. She is amazing and if people could get to know her, they would love her... they are lion hunters but I am not to sure how she would do at that... LOL She runs like the wind.. I would love to try her in the lure course, but her anxiety level gets so high going to a show, I just cant do it to her..

There has to be a special place in h*ll for people that beat and abuse animals!

when we left there we had 27 dogs with us... I wish I could have taken all of them!

I was able to upload photos of Nefertiti our dog with Demodectic Mange... just for you to see the condition she was in when we took her. Instead of "putting her down" we got her the vet care she needs... there is also a pic of her now... a happy dog just the way she should be! (with a little slobber on her nose) Why wasn't she taken care of before this?????
