| Prayers please! Hi friends, I just want to ask for your prayers. It's been a week or so since I've been able to post on the boards. I had to leave my husband in the wee hours of Monday AM as it was a dangerous situation for both myself and Piper (and has been for many months). He had been threatening to give her away for several days while I was in FL for my fathers wedding. I tried to smooth things as much as possible so I could get there and get her away from him. I had to call the police, snatch her, and run. He spitefully gave away/tossed away/who knows? ALL of Piper's things. I am so heartbroken. All of her bows, her dresses, her toys, her bed, her crate, her food, her treats...EVERYTHING! I know it's all stuff and I'm thankful to have her and have gotten out myself but it's so hard to know all those hundreds of dollars I spent are gone. I had just ordered new dresses and bows and thankfully the awesome people I ordered them from are going to send me new ones since he also tossed my mail. (((THANK YOU DARLIN' BEAUXS!))) Anyway, we're safe and sound and happy to be starting over. Thanks everyone! |

| Hang tough! I'm glad you and Piper got out of a really crappy situation! Please keep a low profile around the ex--the first few days or weeks are the most dangerous. Saying prayers for you! |

| Thank you everyone! I was able to get to a PetCo today and get her all new toys and she's just as happy as can be. That in turn makes me happy Yes, we are not even in the same state. Over 1,000 miles away and safe. He has no way of contacting me except through e-mail. |

| How awful for you and Piper. I'm so glad you were able to save Piper and that you, too, are safe. I'm so glad she has some toys again. That was so mean. I'll keep you in my prayers and trust that you'll stay safe.
