HELP. Woofstock and nothing to wear
 
Any ideas, please :confused: We finally have our dog community park and there will be a celebration to raise funds for the fence. The theme will be 'Woodstock' and I don't have any idea of how to dress my furkids. They won't stand for the sunglasses-typical of the 60's. What else can I do?
The park is in Paradise Township @ Skywood Park in Poconos, PA on October 10 from 9 am- 5 pm., in case anyone wants to come :thumbup:

There's always tie-dye. You could have a simple bandana or t-shirt.

Flower power, peace, and love!:D If you haven't already seen them, ppepets.com have some really nice peace sign sets at pretty good prices plus you can use coupon code ppecoup or ppefall and get 20% off your total order. There is one set that I seen has the shirt, bow, collar, maybe harness, and lead. Theres a couple different styles. They have tie-dye which is my fav. I'm going to order some for my kids. Good luck.

A peace sign tye-dye shirt. You can also get bows with peace signs on them. Several people on here sell them.

i can make u a tie die shirt with possibly a peace sign on it if you'd like! it would be fun to make! :D i have tie die fleece somewhere i might be able to find that and work some magic with it.

Well why not get some of the "people" temp hair colors to go with the flower behind their ears, and streak their hair? I have a neighbor who does her dog with pink or purple or blue, depending on what ever she wants or is wearing. A special occasion type of thingy, would be soooo cute, we all had flowers in our hair, ummm not so much the "naked" part though. :animal-pa

I have a selection of "retro" buttons, like peace signs, smiley faces, daisies, etc. I could make you a "Hippie, retro" bow to match whatever the outfit will be!

When my girls attended our local meetup with a Woofstock theme, one of my girls wore a tie dye tank with a peace sign on it and the other wore this harness vest: http://www.doggiepeepads.com/harness...in Daisy&sort=

if i knew by this weekend i could put it together this weekend and ship it priority to get there next week sometime. i think that would be enough time. i live by the joanne's fabrics and can run over and customize the fabric and buttons really quickly and take a photo to send to make sure that you like everything. check out my website if you'd like to see my work. i could make a cute hippie dress, possibly even add wild colored tulle for a tutu skirt if you wanted. and then maybe you could get a bow to match from darlin' beaux they have some similar buttons that i can prob. match up.

I love your ideas :thumbup: In case I can't order anything online because of the time frame, I'm taking notes and I'm going to try them. I want my babies to look awesome for our cause :D Hopefully, people will have so much fun with all the beautiful fur-babies that we'll get the funds for the fence:hands:

I have the metal alligator clips french barrettes, If you prefer the plastic barrettes, I could go pick some up, I have never had a request for them, though. I personally like alligator clips with teeth, they are easier to take in and out without snagging the hair loose from the top knot, and they STAY STRAIGHT :)

for a response from RachelandSadie to see what we can do in such little time.

I have alegator clips on most of their bows, but I'm not crazy about them (neither are they). They seem heavier to me and easier for them to take off. I don't know if we're talking about the same plastic clips, the ones that I like, are human infant bows. They are about 1 inch long and snap together securely. It doesn't pull the hair.Attachment 327563:D

i'm ready to go. i have been running around like a chicken lately with granny's accident and this is my last week on my current job, but i can still try to find something tomorrow if you'd like. i will have more than enough time to find something Sat. and then make it Sat. and ship by Monday. i'll do it for $20 plus shipping. shipping will prob. be $4-6 because i'll send it on the 3 day mail instead of 7-9days. is that amount okay? it prob. won't have the tulle skirt at that price, but i can add one for $5 more. i can do a shredded tulle skirt that looks kinda like a fairy costume but i can do wild colors if you'd like it.

let me know and i'll go get the stuff tomorrow and start on it and post a pic. for the bows so she can match best she can.

i can do the male matching vest for $15 it's not as hard as a dress ;)

okay so that would be a total of: $46.00 for two outfits with quick shipping. i won't overnight, but i'll do the 3 day shipping or something closer to that.

i just need you to measure them. measure around the largest part of their chests, their necks, and the length from neck to *base* of tail on each. when you get those PM me on here with those measurements.

send those measurements by tomorrow if you can and that email address for the paypal invoice.
