110% agree ckc dosnt need pedigrees on there dog just a vet to say hmm i think its a Yorkie.... not good and never will ckc check to see if dogs are in a correct setting akc will check up on breeder pop up in the middle of the day and say Paperwork please and will give you give you a ticket$$ if you fail to meet your requirements as a akc breeder i love it when akc is in the area i just want to pull out my pom pom's and show em who to check up on next having a ckc pet is not a big deal but raising ckc is taking the low rd in my honest opinion

Well I guess that I am just an inferior low road breeder then. I love the way people are quick to throw those of us who go about things the right way in one big happy group with the dishonest CKC breeders... :mad:

i do not see why so many think AKC breeder are so much better. I think that their can be bad AKC breeders just as well. That is an unfair judgement to people who register their pups with CKC. the reason why i first started this thread was because i am looking for my second yorkie and Albert is registered with both AKC and CKC. he is not from the breeder I am speaking of but the breeder i bought Albert from is very careful who she gives sells her pups to she loves them I still keep in contact with her. she does not ship and wants to meet every owner of one of her pups I seen the parents and living quaters (in her home) so if the CKC papers aren't worth the paper they are written on does that mean the pup is not worth it also? I beg to differ. I think if people are looking for a pet only with no intention on breding or showing why do they need exceptional show quality? It just confuses me. :confused:

ok once again my words fly out somtimes without thinking I am sorry to offend you but i would think you may agree with me that CkC is an opening for breeder whom dont want the ....tight Reign of AKC on them ... yes there are bad breeders in akc ... but akc will hopefuly catch them and site them when you breed with akc you give them full rights to do so ... ckc dosnt do this and .. also ckc dont require you to know who the parents are to register do they? i know quite a decent number of breeders who pick up the free to good home cross yorkie females and reg them with ckc ... as pure ... and breed them... they have told me ... hey jamie why dont you do this its soo easy... :thumbdown those are the low road and dishonest ckc breeder i speek of would you agree with this? Don't worry about it. I know there are bad breeders out there, AKC and CKC...I've seen both. And yes, SOME CKC breeders wouldn't be able to get away with what they do with CKC. My point was just that I know I do it right and it is unfair to be put into that group. I own my mama dog, my father owns the daddy dog. Between the two households, we only have four dogs. 3 females (2 Yorkies, 1 Basset Hound) and 1 male...pretty obvious who the daddy is, obvious who the mama is. My dogs stay up...in a fence and in the house. So do my father's/sister's. No stray is getting to them. I don't breed for money. I don't care if I make a dime from Trixie's puppies. I'll keep everyone of them if I need to. Abby (sis's dog) is in 1st heat now. She's 3-4 pound soaking wet. She is living on floor 3 now, Cody is on floor 1. There's no getting together for them two. Abby is being spayed soon...no chance of a little dog having a 6 1/2 pound male's puppies. She has a tiara...she's to loved to have her life lost for the sake of a quick buck. You want to see the parents of our puppies? We have them. Want to see THEIR parents? We'll take you there...you'll find two breeders who are just like us. Want to see THEIR parents...we can do that too. We have copies of their vet bills parents and grandparents. Pictures, testimonials and visits to the houses where their bloodlines live. They don't live in cages, they don't live in barns. We don't have 20 females so we can live without working. I work. My parents work. My husband works. My sister works. We support our dogs, not the other way around.
Not saying you did anything intentionally, I KNOW there are bad breeders, but I'm not one of them.
