My "larger one" is a Yorkie Poo who is 17-18lbs. She is spayed, all three of mine are spayed, I am not a breeder. We adopted Crosley from a family that didn't like her as a puppy and kept her in a basement.
I didn't buy her from an unethical breeder/puppy mill/broker with the intention of breeding her.

I have plenty of things to do thank you very much, but Yorkies are my passion like most here that are not here selling puppies. I'm very compassionate after adopting Crosley & Camden who came from a terrible place to try and help potential buyers from making mistakes by buying from breeders that don't know what they are doing, history of their dogs, etc...

I have little respect for AKC papers. not the AKC though. I was offered by 2 different people and certainly not on my asking, because i refused, that if i bred my dog to theirs they would falsify AKC Papers for me!! Well i did not use them as a stud because that is certainly unethical! Little to say i went else where. I was very honest with the woman that i sold my other pup to in the last litter and she is very happy with that and her pup. So i have little trust in anyone even those with AKC papers because they can be false! Who can we trust? I certainly trust no one after what i have been through but i am honest about where my pups come from.

I did not intend to purchase from who i did at all. I was deceived and lied to and i paid a lot of $ for them on top of it! I not trying to cry about it here but i learned a really big lesson.

I'm beyond disgusted that you would barter your puppies for services, I'm just floored!

This is a public forum, so I don't have to be an experienced breeder to make comments. You didn't buy from experienced breeders, so what difference does that make?
As far as knowing the whole story, I posted your comments, your story, period! The info came from you.

I just hope any potential buyers will see this and realize they need to keep looking in their search so they can buy from an experienced, reputable & ethical breeder that knows their lines & history and have the best representation of the breed!

It's not a gift if you get something in exchange for it. Period.

The fact that you KNOW you got the puppies from less than honest people, with questionable back grounds and they were sick YET you still choose to breed them to "gift" to people is unconscionable.

I do it for the enjoyment of the breed. I We work with Vets 3 times a day and they have DNA tested all my pups and have full health clearance.
i appreciate your concern but im not breeding for show just loving pets

like i said this tread is going too far. I was given a free roof because my home was selected to be in a magazine. i in turn am gifting a pup to them for they just lost theirs. I am gifting to people i know well. i am not looking to barter on here. it just got too far

If you did not intend to purchase from who you did, then why did you? That doesn't make any sense at all!

One came from a breeder who sells to brokers
One came from a pet store
One came from a USDA broker

This info was out there, you found it out right after buying them, why didn't you look before buying? You knew enough to google right after bringing one of them home! Did you not look because you wanted dogs that you could breed and this is the best you could find?
You knew two of them were only 6-8 weeks old! If you had mentored and educated yourself on breeding, you would have know they were too young.
You would have known to check USDA lists & at the very least google names!
You were already a member of YT before you had two of them and at least one of the breeders had been mentioned on here.
No excuses, sorry!

The point is you didn't research or educate yourself on the breeders, their lines, etc.. The information wasn't hidden or hard to find! It took a few clicks to find it out!
This is something any potential, responsible buyer could and should do when purchasing for ANY reason, but especially important when you know you are buying with the intention of being a breeder!
