| ![]() Ok so I am in a dilema. I got my first yorkie from a man who had never bred his dog before and Although I always vowed I would get a KC reg baby who had have first injection, been wormed and fleed I ended up going to visit these pups and fell in love with my wee boy and ended up buying him as the guy obviously looked after his female dog and she was so well cared for and such a lovely nature. My wee boy had not been wormed and was from a litter of 7 and the mum had stopped interacting with them at 7 weeks as they were all trying to bite her and I think she had enough and the guy decided to sell them as the mum seemed to want nothing to do with them. Despite being very young my wee pup settled in brilliantly and although it required more work on my side to teach him about biting and playing etc it was such a joy. He has good health, does have grade 2 LP in one knee, and the vet says he is a lovely puppy. Here's where my dilema starts...I know I want to get a second yorkie in the next few months and the same dog is having puppies with the same father. The guy loves his dog a lot you could see that and he only has the one and she had lots of toys and comfy bed etc. I would love to get one however I am apprehensive as I would like them to be wormed from 2 weeks which is the norm over here but I know that these puppies are going to find homes whether I take one or not and know I could give it an excellent home. I do remember the vet saying that although they should have been wormed - it shouldn't make a large difference starting it a little late but I would still like it to be done. Plus I would lvoe the fact Robbo and the new pup would be real brothers and sisters. I am also concerned that the same dog is having pups despite not wanting to be involved with her first ever litter after 7 weeks. But it still does not change the fact they are on their way due to be born in oct whether I take one or not? Just wondered what people thought. To be honest tho, my mind is pretty much decided that I really want one, I only had my doubts as a lady close by is selling pups with vacs, vet checked, wormed, flead and kc registered and something is niggling at me! Thanks in advance for advice! |

| ![]() If this man loves his dog so much why is he breeding her again so soon. Why aren't they KC registered? Did he get his female or male on limited registration? I would definitely take a second look at the lady who is selling her pups vet checked and everything.

| ![]() Another concern is that your current pup has LP grade 2 and the same breeding has produced the next litter.
